Very good. He’s an RFA so we can match any offer. And only the Nets have cap.

I assume Yabu is gone. Signing him would likely hard cap us.

I would normally be concerned about signing a guy on a hot tear in meaningless games, but Grimes can defend and shoots efficiently.

It would be one hell of a double FU by Brooklyn to out tank the Sixers, push the pick to #7, then turn around and offer Grimes $30M per.

Brooklyn’s next three games are Boston and two against the Pacers. After that, their schedule really eases up.

Might well do both. Got a mountain of cap space and Grimes one of the youngest dudes who’d be worth a splurge.

But with new odds the picks are very unlikely to be 6th worst getting #6 and 7 getting 7. More so just screws the odds of staying top 6 if we end up above 6th worst.

Curious to see if your $15 million/year prediction comes trues. Brooklyn has been known to throw out offer sheets. Not much of a market though.

Brooklyn has Cam Thomas, what do they need with Grimes? Plus, they are going to have a high pick this year as well as two or three others later in the draft.

It's a damn good thing they lost this game. And I see PG is officially out for the year now. Last one is Maxey. Can't they give him something for his hand, sorry Silver he's out a month, "maybe" he'll play in the last game of the year?

Next week is @NO, WSH, MIA, TOR.

Grimes needs to be hurt next week.

After tonight the Liberty Ballers Bell Ringers for the year will have both Quentin Grimes and Jared McCain matching as many as Joel and one more than PG did for the entire year. I hope we do well in the lottery and Joel isn't going anywhere, but the main priority for the Summer has to be finding some place to take PG off our hands, don't care if he has a Renaissance year next year, we have enough young talent to take a shot or two more with Joel if we gain the financial room that dumping PG would provide, and if that doesn't work or Joel cant recover, then we begin the Maxey led rebuild.

Going to miss Yabus toughness and versatility.

But u have to resign Grimes. Has shown the sixers could eventually have a top 3-5 backcourt next season.
-Has shown 3 level ability offensively
-3point hunt ability
-Strong defender
-Underrated athlete
-Team player
-Fights for rebounds
-High Motor
Some negatives I seen is he doesn't have much length and lacks creativity, freethrow shooting could be better, forces shots at times , hot/cold from 3.(All things he can improve except his length)
There's not much to dislike about him so far...
I don't think he can win you games on his own, but neither can Maxey with this roster.( Morey has failed to build a uptempo roster around him for when Embiid sits).

Would like to see more pace and space with Maxey, Grimes and Mccain off the bench leading the way. Need added length/rim deterrence in the front court.

Also, why tie up money with a RFA that’s likely to get matched. That was Marks’ strategy when a lot of teams had cap space. Not his best option at this point.

OKC trying to rest their whole team against us so they can get our pick. We have to get Grimes some rest.

I believes Shams reported that OKC was being investigated for violating the player participation policy by resting their starters on March 7. Now they are resting Shai and Williams against us. Silver really runs a tight ship lol.

It's farcical at this point. Every team is allowed to rest except us. I say bite the bullet and take the fine. I'd rather pay a few fines then miss out on a pick this draft.

100%. At what point does Harris finally stand up to this little freak Silver?

At the very least, Nurse should be instructed to remove anyone playing well for the last six minutes.

Chet should singlehandedly beat us.
