I would take on Mozgov's contract if it meant we could swap Okafor for DLO. Not even kidding.

If the lakers were smart theyd give up russell for jah + their pick back. Both are disappointments, enviornment change with both organizations hoping will help. We'd be the montverde sixers.

In a perfect world the lakers value their pick back more than russell. Let them draft fultz or ball (west coast bias) we draft josh jackson. The end.

Russell,jackson,cov,simmons,embiid.

I dont even like russell but think he'd play way better with simmons as a primary facilitator.

Magic, Bird, and Vlade. You just have to take advantage of one of the former player's.

Wouldn't hold your breath on bird. He's actually had success as a GM.

Wait, what? Nobody would give up the Lakers pick for Russell straight up, let along throwing Jah in with it.

I'd give the Lakers their pick back for Russel. We can't get the pick until it's #4, and Jackson and Ball won't be available at #4, so I'd take him over whoever was left. Adding Okafor is near meaningless, for me.

Russell would be awesome off-ball with Simmons and on-ball running the PnR with Embiid. Plus he's a really great passer. But damn, the dude seems like a real douchebag.

I think Russell and the Lakers pick are pretty close in value with maybe a slight lean towards the pick. I'm higher on Russell than most though - I think he's been misused a bit and would function really well next to Simmons. His shooting and passing efficiency should both increase significantly as a secondary creator.

Who cares if our ~5-6th best player is a douche?

This is weird, they have vets they should be getting rid of, but only 2 days and a guy that just began learning the CBA.

Seems like they'll move Lou. I heard Lou to the Wizards for Satoransky, a 1st, and some min contracts.

Sure but a douche but doesn't seem like a bad kid or a character problem. Also, I think he's friends with our entire core outside of Dario and Cov. Not that this will ever happen
