Taurean Prince is another name I wouldn't mind taking on draft night. He's actually one of my favorite players in this draft. I think he's got 3&D wing written all over him. I love his athleticism and the fact that he can actually shoot a little bit is intriguing for sure. He'd be perfect here for us. I mean, if we walk out of this draft with Ben Simmons, Taurean Prince, and a Demetrius Jackson, DeAndre Bembry, or Tyler Ullis I will crap myself with joy.

If Hinkie was still here, I wouldn't be shocked if he took Maker at 24 and Qi at 26. LOL

Ben Simmons and Demetrius Jackson is still my dream draft

Looks like we'll have to trade up to get Jackson now, which sucks, but it's possible

The only team I can see taking Jackson in the 10-15 range is Chicago

If we are trading one of Noel / Okafor, I don't think those picks are that outrageous...

Qi is a draft and stash, who probably won't be over for quite a while. As far as Maker goes, I haven't followed much of his highschool career, but he's definately got the physcial gifts to be a solid player, as a 3rd C on the roster I'd have no problem with giving him a shot. Assuming we got Ingram or (due to bad luck with our pick or good luck with LA pick Dunn/Murray) in the first

My "LOL" was more at the national media reaction that would take place:

The Philadephia 7 footers: Embiid, Okafor, Noel, Maker, and Qi + 6'10" and taller Saric and Simmons/Ingram.

Beautiful draft right there, slap in thon maker too if Waller-Prince isn't there, can't pass him up if he's there one of the later 1st rds...Demetrius is a real problem, very aggressive and good IQ

Malik Beasley could be a nice pick for us late in the first round too.

I just know that the Spurs will draft Thon Maker and he will become a perennial all star. It's just going to happen.

So if Derozen is slated to get signed by LA, and God forbid the Lakers get 1 and we get 2, does that increase our chances at Ingram?

I know it's Stephen A. Smith, so I'm not reading a ton into it. But my arguement all along was we need to get the Lakers pick this year because I bet they get DeRozan and Whiteside.

I don't know what you are saying here. If we get the second pick we are more likely to get Ingram no matter who has the first pick.

I'd say Simmons and Ingram are right on par. A matter of opinion, but we'll see.

Just about a month until the draft lottery. Sure to be a defining moment one way or another.

May 17th is my birthday. I don't believe in destiny or fate or luck. I have nothing to do with the lottery outcome. Still, I wish the lottery was being held on a different day.

I really want one of the top two picks. That is reasonable, right?

Derozan would be getting signed after the draft, so it's really all up in the air. If there is any earlier tampering, the Lakers would get in trouble. They would still have to choose based on who they think is the BPA, presumably. Otherwise, they are stupid.
