Bender is likely impossible anyway.
Teams can only pay so much in buyouts each off-season and a large chunk of that is already going to Saric. We wouldn't be able to buy Bender out and I have a feeling this regime isn't going the draft and stash route so quickly with top 5 picks.

Hmm, I thought that he had an out in his contract. If there is a buyout involved then that complicates things, but maybe it also simplifies things too.
If we get 1 and 4, and Bender is on the board at 4 then maybe we draft him and wait to buy him out until next year and let him play in Europe for another year?

Adding Simmons into the mix would be a big stretch, but given his talent level it's worth a try (though I'm on the fence between him and Ingram). Saric and/or Simmons could play a little SF here and there (I think both are PFs long term though). However, adding a SIXTH big man (Bender) is just not feasible. Trading for fit would be a necessity before the season even starts.
I agree that if we were in that situation where we had 6 guys straddling the 4 and 5 that we would have to trade 1 or 2 of them this summer. Let's just imagine that that is the situation that we were in. Who cares? Trade two of them then.
Virtually the whole league has cap room so salary requirements on trades will be nil. It will be easier to make meaningful trades this summer than it ever has been before.
If we keep all those bigs for one year, BC has to sign 3&D guys and a top 15 PG or we'll lose 70 games again next year.
“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.

If you mean all of them as in all 6 of them then I'm saying that we would trade 2 of them before the season would start so it would only be 4.

I could very easily see the Sixers trading up with someone, packaging both the OKC and Miami picks, to select Demetrius Jackson. He is almost identical to Kyle Lowry in terms of size and possibly play style, no?
He could be BC's PG for this team.
