Two things:
1.That's not enough to get Boston to move back.
2. I doubt Boston takes Fultz #1, and I wouldn't trade up from 4 to get him.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

All of this tanking just makes me more mad that Hinkie was let go... The lakers are egregiously tanking now, Brooklyn doesn't even give a ****... Orlando getting rid of Ibaka is a clear tank job... Unbelievable that we are stuck with daddy's little boy instead of the most shrewd GM in NBA history...

Either way, now with the Kings going into tank mode, we should have no excuse not to play Embiid/Simmons, unless they are both actually injured.

There is no need to trade up because we are winning the lottery. :D

Hey, maybe Magic isn't going to be awful. Getting a first round pick for Lou Will is not bad.

Like the deal for both teams. Thought one of the many contenders needing scoring off the bench would definitely give up their late 1st for Lou. Bet Washington was offering up theirs as well. Wont praise Magic just yet, but a decent first day on the job.

The trade is pretty bad for the Lakers. Brewer is a negative asset and the Rockets should have to pay to get rid of him. Only getting something like the 27th pick on average for Lou Williams (who's crushing this year and has another year left at 7 million) and a salary dump seems like poor value.

I think it's easy to say this trade is bad and that somehow that they would be able to get more from a trade - but we haven't heard any other offers, so it's all guesswork. The other teams mentioned were Utah and Washington. If it was Washington, the Lakers would've had to swallow the 4 year deal of Nicholson in exchange. If it was Utah, they probably only had the GSW pick (guaranteed #32) on the table. The salaries were equal and the Laker's would've had to take something back from anyone. Obviously, Brewer's two year deal is not ideal, but I also wasn't claiming that Magic had just robbed anyone blind. Frankly, I think extracting a 1st rounder from anyone was probably equal value. Brewer's deal doesn't kill anyone capwise (one more year at $7M) - which they would've paid to Lou Will anyway. I dunno, I think people are putting completely unreasonable expectations (read, Hinkie-like or RealGM fantasy board standards) to the trade vs. evaluating it on it's head.

No way Boston would trade that pick for Okafor and the 4th. However, I do this in a heartbeat for Fultz lol.

Going to lock this because it's exceeded 100 pages, going to make the other Okafor thread the trade talk thread.

I knew someone would submarine my over under 120 page line for this thread before Okafor gets traded. Now I need to do math (106+ 6 we are at 112)
