If Okafor is traded for the 3rd pick, who do you want most?

Dunn's my favorite prospect of that tier so I wouldn't mind this trade so much, it would take me a moment to reconcile trading Okafor, but I'd still like that trio. Although, I'm going to be a real bitch if/when Okafor goes on to become something, which I'm quite confident he will do.

EDIT: I feel like BC is going to get bent over by Ainge, we're going to include more than we should - we desperately want Dunn after all.

At this point just get it over with, but if BC throws in a future 1st or something from our end, I'm done with him.

Looking forward to the Embiid / Noel tandem sending Okafor's shot back to the top of the key 3-5 times a night when we play Boston next year.

Difficult as I really would like to see Okafor develop here, but I do get the move if it happens. I'm more on the Murray camp after seeing what kyrie did, but would be ok with Dunn as well. Murray puts another scoring threat next to Simmons, but Dunn gives you a defensive stud with a respectable 3.

Is it easier to get a 3d pg, or a star?? If they get the third pick, it's not a straight forward selection.

Maybe. No way Celtics trade #3 for Okafor only. Celtics to take Dunn because he's easily best player on board. Star potential. They'll sort it all out later.

The great cycle of any trade rumor with Boston.

1. Media reports that Boston is interested in trading for someone
2. The rumors with boston get majorly overhyped and overanalyzed because of their proximity to the worldwide leader and all of the major media people that happen to be from boston.
3. Boston fans become convinced that this means that no one else is interested in trading for the person they were allegedly interested in.
4. Boston fans start having ridiculous ideas of what the relative values are of players on the two teams. (Personally, my favorite version of this is when they are offering some end of the bench scrub like Marcus Banks or Terry Rozier and they say "Oh Danny would hate to give this guy up he's gonna be a player!")

If Okafor was in this draft, then there is very little doubt in my mind the Celtics would take him at #3. Can't see them taking Kris Dunn or Jaylen Fing Brown over him.

Exactly how I feel.

I was favoring Dunn pre-lottery. 3, steals and assists is the trio I like from Dunn altho he's quite inconsistent with the 3s.

Chad Ford said again earlier that the Lakers are looking to move Russell because he "burned bridges there" earlier tonight. Jives with what I heard in April from a reliable source that they were open to an Okafor for Russell deal, but haven't heard from the source since then and may never again, so no idea where things stand.

I don't believe it's because of "burned bridges." He burned bridges with Lou Will and Nick Young. Both guys are expendables.

If there's a reason why they are looking to trade him, it's because he doesn't pass the Lakers' high standard of star perimeter player.

Defense and advanced metrics (favors assists) aside for both players, I do think Jah has been the more impressive offensive player between the two.

He burnt bridges across the league apparently....like he could be a deterrent to FAs and ****. A lot of players did not like what he did, Nick Young...the knucklehead loser he is...has a lot of friends across the league.

I think it will blow over in time..but it is a major blow on his rep at the moment.

Who would you take at 3 if the pick is obtained?
