There were people on this board questioning their perimeter defense (which is nearly perfect), questioning their bigman rotation (which is the most productive per-minutes scoring rotation in the NBA), and questioning their depth (they're the deepest team in the NBA). So many terrible takes regarding the Clippers. If anyone even takes them to 6 in a playoff series this year, that's a huge achievement.

If we wanna keep up with them, we're going to need better bench pieces than Ennis and Scott. I hope we aggressively go after another quality rotation player at the deadline. Bolden + Neto + 2nd for someone.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Barlow/Watford/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

Who makes 5 mil?

We don't have the contracts that can get us anyone good enough in a trade unless we are trading one of our main guys, which we won't do.

Exceptions, and buyouts are our future for the next few years while we let this core go for a title.

Bellinelli? Lol. But yea, it'll be buyouts and MLE from here on out. Still sorta bummed we weren't able to get someone better than Mike Scott with the MLE. Hopefully next summer we'll attract someone better.

Belinelli would probably be the easiest guy to get a team to part with. Other guys that make 5 million or less:
Reggie Bullock - 4 million
Malik Monk - 3 million

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

More scoring production from the bench will make us better on the margins but this team might be destined for failure regardless of what additions we make because we have nobody with a closer's skillset. Fatalistic and melodramatic, perhaps, but probably the truth.

Bellinelli or Bullock would be great. Is Charlotte ready to give up on Monk already though?

PJ Washington is a star. People thinking Charlotte is going to be the worst team in the East better save their money. The Hornets are going to beat up on the non-playoff teams in the East. The coach is sitting the bums like Nic Batum and MGK. Their problem is too much youth, but they have more talent than people think.

Is Kyrie really pretending he grew up a Nets fan? No way that's true.

I mean, the Nets did go to back-to-back Finals during his formative years growing up in Jersey. I can buy it.

Paul George growing up a Clippers fan is 100% bs, though. He was obviously a Lakers fan just like every kid that grew up in California in that era.

Pascal Siakam looks good most nights but he's looking invisible so far tonight.

Tatum has attempted 5 long twos and 3 threes in the first half. Dammit Kobe.

He grew up in East Orange, which is like a 20 minute drive to the Meadowlands, where the Nets played.

I saw what you were seeing but he just ripped off like 10 points in 2 minutes lol. Just bad timing.

Celtics fans are in for a rude awakening about Tatum's superstar potential.

Yeah I know but he wasn't a Nets fan lol I guarantee it. He was either Knicks or didn't really care about a particular team.

Even if he doesn't reach Paul George, he's a pretty safe bet to reach Klay Thompson.

Glenn Robinson

If we're going 90s players, I think Glen Rice is the more apt comparison, given his elite shooting tool. Also, with Grant Hill's defense. That's the thing with Tatum, he's a complete package in terms of two-way games. That's why his ceiling is so high.

The Grizzlies are going to leap so many of the rebuilding teams ahead of them out west. Putting together the Jackson/Morant duo was phenomenal.
