Then we wait. Daryl Morey knows better than to repeat the same RUSH THE PROCESS ineptitude of the last 4 years.

That's certainly a possibility, but I think you do "land the plane" if the former MVP and arguably the best fit in the NBA next to Embiid is on the table. Especially if the trade involves one of the worst fits next to Embiid.

Trust me, I'd love to have Embiid, Ben, and Harden, but I think the Rockets would rather let James reconsider his desired locations than give him up for garbage.

If that's the case, then so be it. Just means time to move onto Phase 2 of the Morey + Harden sabotage campaign.

Would love to get Covington back too. This is getting me excited. Who would have imagined the Sixers having a good shot to acquire Harden less than a month after hiring Morey.

Lol why all of that. You can do it just for Simmons and picks or Simmons and Al. Not giving jrich and Shake. You want Jo mad that two of his best friends are gone again?

We wait for what? We're not getting a better player than Harden for Ben. And Ben is not likely to ever be as good as Harden.

if you are morey you don't call houston any time soon unless you get an indication that a deal for harden is inminent

the last thing that you want is to piss ben simmons if things gets leaked.

Is it possible to beat out the BKN offer without offering Ben?

Now with Harden reportedly naming Philly + Brooklyn as preferred destinations, his value is lower than usual

No one thinks we could get Harden w/o touching Embiid or Ben?

Wouldn’t something like Tobias + Thybulle + J Rich + Shake + Zhaire + three 1st rounders be enough? Could the Nets beat that?

If no Ben, the Nets offer is better. Unless you attach a bunch of pics.

I think talent wise that would beat out Levert - Allen - Dinwiddie - Kuruks - TLC + equal 1st rounders. Maybe our 2nds could put us over the edge

Nets' deal will be around LeVert and Allen. Don't see them having much more, except some higher picks in this weak draft.

No it's not. Houston has the leverage here. Harden is one of the best players in the league and he's under contract. They're under no obligation to trade him to either of his preferred destination if they don't get an satisfactory offer.

Leverage fades fast when that star player wants to make a move out

Don't know, never smelled at him.

But he's a good player and not a nutcase like Harden.

Can you imagine how Joel is going to act when you got a nutcase like Harden here.
