The bench needs to step up, especially Niang and Maxey.

Again, we are one solid bench piece away from competing with them. Morey really needs to make a strong push for Barton or Ross before March 1.

Seriously. I just wanted to see the team fight and they did. I'm excited to see what this team looks like after they get battle tested before the playoffs. Compared to teams like Celtics & Bucks, we really haven't played together long

Yep, any of the top 3 seed in the East can go to the final.

The Sixers won the season series against them last year so it's not like the team has lost 5 straight season series. Most of the games have been close.

Again, we're not doing any other moves. Team is not gonna cut Reed and ownership is not gonna take the cap hit of paying Harrell or House next season.

Do you really believe that? I'm not sure about it. I think they'd beat us handily in a series.

Im with Kobble, I think we can beat them when it matters.

I think we have multiple guys who can defend Bos wings on single coverage that all they have is settling for pull up jumpers.

Al is slowing down and they dont have anyone who can defend Biid on single coverage

Celts deathball or their best unit involves Robert Williams, and they can’t play much of that if they want to get Biid outside the paint

Brogdon is lowkey dragging down the Celts. Their offense is bad when he’s on the court.

What we just need is to have a very good bench, which im emphasizing lately. We got an edge, and in this game a big edge, with the starter battle to start and end games. But we’re handicapped with how Maxey is playing and with how Derrick White-Brogdon off the bench.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Close means nothing. Whenever it counts we’ll find a way to lose to these guys.

There's no such thing as a moral victory between two teams jockeying for the conference championship. Moral victories are achieved by heavy underdogs who have no shot at a championship and who lose by less than expected against a league power. This game by contrast was a statement game -- we're better than you and we'll beat you on your own court on national TV.

Hardly uplifting, that game was demoralizing for the Sixers.

Maxey has been awful vs Boston. We can’t count on him in this matchup.

Our bench will be the death of us.

Wait till Tatum shows up and scores his customary 30 instead of the 12 and 18 he's scored in these two teams' past two games. At that point none of those intricacies will matter.

The Sixers can hang with them and lose in the end. In their most recent game they were depleted and Tatum scored only 12 points and the Sixers were beaten convincingly. Tonight you had the expected game between them when both teams are at full strength -- a hard-fought one in which Boston's elite players win it in the end.

That's what happened tonight, and that's what'll happen in the playoffs. This team won't win in Boston, and it'll have trouble winning at home just like it did tonight. If they can get by the Bucks they'll lose 4-2 to Boston. They don't have the mettle to win in Boston, and they don't have the players to beat them consistently at home.

That was a statement game by Boston in a weekend night game everybody was watching -- we're better than you, and we'll beat you on your own floor.

There is always luck in the end. For once maybe it will swing our way. But what you said is true if both teams stay complete. They have clutch Tatum and a deeper team. Plus they will have home court advantage as you said.

We have Louis King and of course the Slam Dunk Champ taking up roster space though.

That's why we should have had McDaniels in to guard him but of course Doc is gonna Doc lol.

I know it’s just been a few games, but I’m skeptical about McDaniels really being the defender of star wings that we need. He’s long, but his defensive awareness is not great. He’s okay as another body to throw out there, but i’m not sure he’s your guy at the end of the game.

I been saying this and I also wouldn't count on Tobias playing as well as he's played across a series with them. Niang was also a no-show. I think you bring in a Barton to give you another option he has a enough size and athleticism to give a look.

Agreed. Maxey and Tobias and Niang will get shut down vs Boston. Then we’ll come up short again. Same old ish.

Those are two way contracts, they can be moved to Delaware so they aren't counted among the 14 official spots. Without Springer, King and McClung we have 14 guys.
