We traded Iggy for the 7th pick to draft Lamb. We then Move turner to some team in the teens-late twenties (don't remember) to take Quincy Miller, and Took Leonard with our 15th pick.

I was so out of it but I remember freaking the **** out.

Our GM (it wasn't even Thorn just some generic white dude) said that we were ready to move to the next stage of the franchise and that getting guys like Lamb, Miller, and Leonard to go with Holiday signifies a new era.

Our lineup was going to be

Jrue
Lamb
Miller
Brand(said that we need his leadership)
Leonard.

and that he knows it will take some time but with Collins things will move quicker than average...

and then I woke up.

Weird dream and I odubt anything like that would happen but man it felt so reaaaaaal lol.

that wouldnt be awful if we just got more back in a turner trade than that

Iggy , Thad , 15th pick and or VUcevic for Carmelo Anthony .

Knicks get better fits around Chandler Amare and Lin.

76ers get a go to scorer.

Sign Brand to a new contract with Less money.

Sign a Big man Hibbert, Lopez, or McGee.

McGee/ ---
Allen / Brand
Melo /
Turner/ Meeks
Jrue

^ I don't believe the Knicks is going to give up on Melo just like that. They just signed Chandler to a very long contract.

If they are looking to get out of Melo and Amare's contract, something I would recommend since they're basically going nowhere and have a really messed up salary cap.

Knicks: Expiring + Eb42 (expiring) + 7th pick(Barnes?) + Thad
76ers: Melo + Amare
GSW: Iguodala
4th team: 15th pick + Jefferson

Why for the Knicks:
They got to dump a large amount of contract plus they got a lotto pick.

Why for the 76ers:
Jrue-ET-Melo-Amare-Vuc

Why for the 4th team:
Got the 15th pick in a really good draft.

If Amare continues to decline, then use the amnesty on him. Not sure if that is prohibited though.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Granted I want nothing to do with Amare or Melo.

However, I think Amare & Melo both want to be Batman, and hate the idea of being Robin. I think Iggy for Melo straight up makes NYK a much better team as Amare gets all his touches, Iggy contributes however he can, and Chandler/Lin/etc all get a few shots also. They NEED a very skilled Robin, Iggy would be perfect for them.

However I want absolutely no part of Melo here.

Iggy, Thad, And VUcevic /15th pick for for Melo.

Would be great for both teams.

Knicks get the best Robin in the game and a explosive combo forward off the bench. Plus a young big prospect. What more can they want? Amare is the go to guy proved to be MVP caliber.

76ers get a go to guy/scorer on the wing to compliment Jrue and Turner. Resign Brand to a 2 year deal with team 3rd option with less money. Lou and Hawes walk. We target Hibbert, Lopez or Javale McGee. Resign L. Allen . Pick up Jr. smith, Stiesma and a vet guard.

Jrue/ Turner/vet
Turner/ Jr Smith
Anthony/ 2nd rd shooter
Brand/ Allen
McGee/ Stiesma / 2nd rd prospect.

That's a nice upgraded team.

Yuck - keep Melo far far away from this team. The guy is a loser. He's not a team guy in the least bit.

How about Lou Williams (S&T?) for Kyle Korver...

We're desperate for a consistent, pure shooter (plus he's an expiring). Chicago maybe could use a scorer like Lou while they try to stay afloat with D-Rose out.

I'm tired so I will post full details of this trade sometime tomorrow or so, but how about a trade based around Iggy and Vuc for Ibaka and Thabo, then get a 3rd team involved to take either Cook or Nick Collison so that the money works out. They would give up a 2nd rd pick in like 2 years or something. This way we save 9 million dollars and then amnesty Brand. You now have 27 million to spend. Maybe sign Gordon to 15 million, Lopez to 9 million? Idk, but I thought this was an ok trade for both sides.

THUNDER:

PG: Westbrook
SG: Harden
SF: Iggy
PF: Durant
C: Perkins

SIXERS:

PG: Holliday
SG: Gordon, Thabo
SF: Turner
PF: Ibaka
C: Lopez, Allen
PG: Russell Westbrook, Reggie Jackson
SG: Andre Roberson, Anthony Morrow, Jeremy Lamb
SF: Kevin Durant, KJ McDaniels, Perry Jones
PF: Serge Ibaka, Nick Collison, Robert Covington

That OKC trade isn't very realistic. You expect them to trade not only their starting PF, but also their backup one too? And then to move Durant to PF to replace them? Never happen.

I think Ibaka can eventually be had, but probably not until the trade deadline next year. I suspect they would be looking for young players who have only been in the league for 1-2 years so they can get a few more years out of them before they hit FA and get a big payday.

More realistically though, I assume they will keep everyone until after next year. At that point they will probably explore trades for Westbrook after they sign Harden/Ibake to extensions. The always have the option to amnesty Perkins when the time comes to make salaries work. I believe they will be able to afford all 4 of those guys, but they will have a lot of minimum salary guys around them. To me, Harden and Durant aren't going anywhere, no matter what. Ibaka will probably depend on how he progresses during the next year.

I said him or Cook. Ok, so they'll give up Cook and still have Collison to play behind Durant. Durant at PF is not out there at all.

Would anyone else be up for reuniting Deron Williams and Wes Matthews in our backcourt?

Turner and #45 for Wes. Deron signs in Philly. Then Jrue for #10.

Leonard at 15 and PJ3 at 10. Go with youth, size, and athleticism at PF/C.

Allen's outside game and rebounding/man up D will complement Meyers' post up game and weak side shot blocking/athletic defense.

PJ3 is the type of prospect you take a chance on. If he pans out and earns a starting spot next to Leonard, you've struck gold. If he busts after a failed few seasons of trying, it sucks. But you have Deron, so losing Jrue doesn't hurt as much.

Deron
Matthews
Iggy
Lavoy/PJ3
Leonard

Not sure how logistically possible this is but here goes:

NOH is looking to move Okafor for cap space (via some random internet website :)). The are willing to use the 10 to get it done. We won't have the cap space to do it till after we amnesty brand. So we make an agreement so the draft for us and get it done day we amnesty Brand.

#10 (Lamb or Sullinger)/Okafor for Cap (returned '13 2nd)

Jrue/Turner/Iggy/Sully/Okafor (#15-Rivers?/Meeks/Young/Allen/Vucevic)

OR

Move Iggy for #5-Drummond/Crap

Jrue/Lamb/Turner/Okafor/Drummond (#15-?/Meeks/Young/Allen/Vucevic)

Not sure the new owner would want to pay $30mil for Okafor and #10
Also cap space for next year free agency will be gone too

How about Ariza+#10 instead(as suggested in the wiretap)? Is there enough cap space to just absorb his contract($7.2mil) after Lou opt out?

I still prefer

Okafor + no 10 <-> Evan Turner - Thad Young + 2nd round pick?

Works for both sides, and they take less money in return.

Sixers: JRue - No 10 - Iguodala - Brand - Okafor
Bench: no 15 - Allen - Meeks - Vucevic

I think we need this trade to go forward
