Their are always player, management and coaches who jobs may be on the line. These guys want to win. Griffin is not guaranteed anything for next season. Besides a paycheck.

Edwards is coming to Philly. Just a matter of time.

I hope you guys are right. Minnesota press seems to think they would sooner trade Towns than Edwards. I mean, this is the team that bought into Wiggins, after all.
Edwards for Simmons would be an absolute win. I’d immediately offer Edwards and picks to OKC for Shai, then call the jeweler for fittings.
mjkvol wrote:Why would OKC trade Shai for Edwards? Seems like they want to make him the primary block to build around. If we would prefer Shai in a second, what makes anyone believe that Presti doesn't feel the same way?

“You can coach him,” Rivers said. “You can get on him. He loves watching film. He loves working with the veterans. And he’s high character. I’ve always thought great young players, when they have high character and want to get better, they have a chance to be great. And Shai’s in that category.”

That's probably what we would wind up doing. Doc loves Shai.“You can coach him,” Rivers said. “You can get on him. He loves watching film. He loves working with the veterans. And he’s high character. I'd probably just rather keep Edwards. I think he has more upside and would bring electricity to the WFC that we haven't had in a perimeter player since Iverson.
