I think it's more shocking that Drummond is under 30 years old.

If ROY is not a points per game contest, Kessler would be ROY.

Having paid extra attention to Banchero this week, he’s very, very impressive. I think he’ll likely lead the league in scoring one of these seasons.

DeAngelo Russell took 17 attempts from three last night and didn't draw a single free throw attempt.

Wolves franchise should fold if Kessler wins ROY. But realistically, Paolo is averaging 20/6/4 on a surprisingly competitive Magic team. I think he’ll be helped by the fact that the Magic keep winning against good teams. A lot of beat writers in Boston, Philly, etc will remember that come voting time.

It would be great if Magic caught the eight seed and faced Boston in round one.

Maybe I'm crazy but I am not impressed with Banchero at all. He's a slightly more athletic Jahil Okafor to me. Below average shooter, terrible defender. A good center like Embiid can neutralize him at the rim and then he's almost worthless on offense too. His TS% is pretty terrible for a low post player too.

If he can somehow improve his bad 3p% I may change my opinion but right now, yuck.

It's nuts to me that the Knicks tried to nickel and dime Ainge for Mitchell but are willing to trade 3 FRP for OG who to me while good is limited in the same way Roco was as 14-16PPG guy as someone who will never be able to create for himself or others.

Reminds me of when the Knicks gave up a first for Andrea Barganini but refused to trade a first for Lowry. Knick gonna Knick

Okafor is an insane comp for Paolo lol. He’s definitely a perimeter player and a very promising one at that. His FT rate is awesome and he’s shooting a good % from the line. I think he becomes a league average 3pt shooter in a couple years. I could very easily see him averaging an efficient 25-27 per game at his peak.

The form on his 3-point shot is very promising: smooth, high and quick release. If he has a work ethic, that shot could be more than league average. It could be unguardable with his length and ball skills.

Even if he develops a more willing trigger from three, I think that merely just makes him Julius Randle. He's still a garbage defender and must play the frontcourt position because he's too heavy play anywhere other than PF or C.

This is kinda where I’m at right now on Paolo as well.

If I had to bet, the Magic made the wrong pick there.

Im also not that impressed on Paolo’s numbers. But on eyetest his skillset looks very much advanced. I think he’s a Julius Randle-Demarcus Cousins type player.
