I dont believe the league is rigged cause if it was they would have figured out a way to get an LA/NY finals. Joel needs 30+ and 15+. Harden 20+ and 10+ assists.

Damn, this reminds me of the '80's when Auerbach would always get the Celtic-friendly refs he needed in big playoff games (Darell Garretson, Joey Crawford, Hugh Evans, Jake O'Donnell, etc.) and you would rarely ever see Earl Strom, the one guy who called it fair at Boston Garden, because Auerbach lobbied the league to keep him from doing Celtics games.

The league is going balls to the wall for a BOS-LA final, and Denver had better be aware that they are in the crosshairs as well.

It's amazing that we even made it to game 7. It's not often a team gets this deep in a series when their top 3 scorers have played this poorly and been this inefficient. Especially when someone on the other team (Jaylen Brown) has been unguardable.

The only consistent players so far in this series has been Brown

This is the best chance the Sixers are ever going to get in the Joel Embiid era. And this isn't the 2001 Sixers that were just overmatched. The Sixers are good enough to win this. So whatever happens will be fully earned on their own efforts(or lack thereof). It's in their hands.

And if you look at this upcoming summer, next season's team is almost assuredly going to be worse. Either Harden leaves, which makes them worse in the short-term(while being good for the long-term because it would be insane to give him a max deal) or he stays on an awful contract, which makes him more likely to dog it since he's paid, plus he'll be a year older. Tucker will be a year older. Embiid a year older coming off another knee injury. No cap space, no picks to trade. Next year's roster will the Harden decision + probably trading Tobias' expiring contract for a starter in the same tier of a Harrison Barnes + another Danuel House caliber bench guy who once played for the Rockets. Not really all that exciting.

Honestly, the most exciting thing they could do is get rid of the GM and bring someone in with a fresh vision so maybe there's hope that new GM has something new up their sleeve instead of just sticking with ex Houston Rockets every year. I've read Bob Myers might be out in GS.

Anyway, all this is avoided if they win. But I emotionally detached myself from this team years ago, so whatever happens in this game I'm going to take it in stride.

Its rigged. James Harden didn’t invite John Hao for Game 6.

Whether he likes it or not, this game is the most important of James Harden’s career. In his last three game sevens, he has gone 5 for 34 from three (2-13, 1-9, 2-12).

I think we are going to know right away if we have good Harden or bad Harden when Game 7 starts. I so hope we are getting good Harden but if it’s obvious he doesn’t have it, I hope Doc would try Shake instead.

I already had 3 three beers, maybe that’ll help.

Scott Foster reffing. Even worse, Eric Lewis reffing - whose games have been like 19-3 favoring Celtics wins, and whose extended family are all Celtics fans.

Sorry Sixers fans, including myself. While we can beat a team, but we can't beat a system that has f*** us over many times in the past, including f***ing up our ownership and gm.

My guarantees for Today:

1) Tatum plays great
2) Horford plays great
3) Harden bad
4) Tobias bad
5) Doc not good enough
6) Refs a disaster

Only chance we have is if Embiid and Maxey are great and one other player steps up big....Niang? Melton?

Also, PJ has to hit at least three 3's.

Harden, to his credit, turned back the hands of time in games 1 & 4, while Maxey, Harris and the rest broke out of their scoring slumps in game 5. That is the main reason why it's 3-3.

I’m still in awe that the league is willing to look THIS bad with the Foster/Lewis pairing officiating this game.

Guys, this is the most stressing pregame I’ve ever had in my life.
Ever.

Any suggestions of what to do?

I’m in Istanbul, it’s 8 pm.
I had 4 beers in bar, took a walk.

I’m about to visit my friend, we are going to watch the game together.

My wife and kid wished me all of the best and went to bed in Korea.

I’d probably want to walk/bike somewhere to kill time and eat up some nervous energy before the game. I clean my house like a madman before these games.

I’ve took a walk already for 20000 steps.
And I called house-cleaning today because my wife is coming back in a couple of days.

I guess I need to do something extra ordinary lol.

Go on youtube and watch the 1982 game 7 in Boston. The full game is on there. Also think a bunch of 1983 finals are too.
