Grimes drops 25/10...This dude has some Brandon Roy to his game. Gotta bring him back and pair him with Maxey.
Council dropped 20 off the bench, Edwards had a game too. I'm loving it. Yes we lost, but guys are getting valuable experience. Edwards, Council, and Grimes all gems, all valuable future additions moving forward.

Council is the one I'm most likely fine with getting rid off. Dude has a lot of knucklehead in him. Would rather figure out how we can keep Oubre over him. Kelly was a soldier this year. Tried his ass off.

I think Grimes has the skillset to emulate a Derek white type of role for the sixers, he's no longer just 3&D. Let him start next to Maxey and give the team what it needs on a game to game basis. Whether that's bringing the ball up, spacing the floor, scoring or just crashing the boards and pushing the pace.

Council is debatable

I like Council but he's hard to pinpoint a role for now or for future. He's kind of all over the place. He's a great athlete with good size, some slashing ability but I'm not sure he will be able to etch out a role on this team that will be looking to compete lol next season if Embiid returns healthy.
Especially now with Grimes and Edwards being better in their roles.

He's a energy wing with average handles , questionable decision making and odd form on his shot . His 3pt shot looks like a Longshot to be reliable and he's also not a good defender.

You can make the case that as the team slowly moves out of the Embiid era , Maxey offense should be uptempo and you need wings to get up and down with him.

I like Oubre as well but off the bench

Grimes would be great depending on the money and what happens in the draft. I love me some Council, just not sure about his role as NN doesn't seem to like him. Of course we could get rid of NN, and problem solved.

How those lottery balls fall is the most important thing for this franchise right now as we absolutely need to be in the top 5 picks. I don't think much of their performances in this losing process, NN is Brett Brown right now. I ended my NBA league pass for a reason, we suck and I would rather watch Netflix than them.

I am fine with keeping council as a 4th or 5th wing off the bench, where he is only getting minutes in this type of injury situation. Assuming we keep PG, he is going to miss games, so Council bumps up to a 15 mpg player during those injury times as Edwards/Oubre handle most of the minutes.

Here's how our wings stack up against each other this year on a per-36 basis.

Quentin Grimes: 5.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.8 steals, 0.8 blocks, 39.3% from three
Lonnie Walker: 5.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.5 blocks, 33.3% from three
Ricky Council: 5.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.4 blocks, 28.7% from three
Justin Edwards: 4.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.5 blocks, 35.5% from three
Kelly Oubre: 6.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.5 blocks, 29.3% from three

Observations:
- Quentin Grimes clearly is in his own league amongst our wings. What a great all-around contributor.
- Kelly Oubre is clearly our worst player. Get him out of here.
- Lonnnie Walker has been sneaky impressive so far (small sample size).
- Ricky Council continues to show promise in improving his playmaking, but he needs to shoot better.
- Justin Edwards is overrated among our fans, IMO. Can't rebound and a weak playmaker.

Agree if Oubre wants a raise and opts out, I'm perfectly fine letting him walk. Otherwise if he opts in, he's salary filler for a future trade. Under no circumstances would I give him a raise or a new contract.

Really like the guy but his terrible shooting and vision are killers for any team trying to win.

Ready to roll with the other guys instead and hopefully one or two more wings in the draft.

This. Next year Grimes plays the Derrick White do-everything role as our starting SG. What a great find. Just hope he doesn't break the bank too bad lol.

Only guys that will be back next season from this list are Grimes and Edwards IMO

I'm hoping there's a lot more untapped potential for Justin Edwards. Looks like an upside of elite role player, but I do see flashes of handles from him.

Whats Justin's ideal position? Sf? He seems a little small, but hes a good shooter.
