YPA is a skewed stat when you give up a lot of total rushing yards cause a lot of the times when games are winding down, the opponets take a knee, and that reduces the YPC stat. And as for being 4th in the league in sacks....what are you looking at ? The Eagles had like 32 team sacks...not even close to the top-15, let alone 4th.

They were tied for 2nd in the league in sacks with 49. You are looking at opponents stats (Eagles gave up 32).

Was I ? Oops, my bad. Sorry about that. But even still, it seemed the games I watched last season that the Eagles had trouble defending the TE. And Dupree was maybe the best at that last season in college. I mean at 6ft,4 270...his athletic skills and covering skills are outstanding.

Kiko Alonso should provide a huge help there. Covering wideouts was a far bigger issue for them though.

Veteran WR Santonio Holmes tells Sports Illustrated that he’s “baffled” that he isn’t on an NFL team right now.

“It baffles me a little, to know that I’m not a part of any organization,” Holmes said, via Pro Football Talk. “It’s a gift and a curse at the same time.
