I haven't followed this draft class all that closely. Can someone who is well informed tell me:

Of the following 2 prospect types, which is more likely to be available for the Sixers in 2018:

1. Athletic, explosive, defensive oriented PF who has a respectable jumper, can guard 4s and 5s, and be a 10 year starter in the league while excelling as a 5th option on offense

2. Athletic, explosive, defensive oriented combo guard who can play PG or SG, can guard either position, respectable jumper, 6th man type guy on a contender for 10 years?

For your first question Miles Bridges of Michigan St might be that PF who can guard 4s who may be available in the bottom half of the lottery.

Can Mikal Bridges handle the ball at all? Lol I am just thinking...with the LAL pick Miles and with our pick Mikal....

2 Bridges one city! They would solve both areas of need.

Not really. His strenghts on offense are off the ball, ie catch and shoot and cutting inside.

yup its become apparent that the sixers need wings that can defend the perimeter and aid in help defense and can run with ben in transition for fastbreak points (they literally have no one in the rotation right now which is sad other than maybe roco). furkan is probably another one who’ll help in transition too.

mikal bridges is the guy right now unless there’s someone else out there that does what he does. jordan bell fits that mold and we couldve gotten him easily smh

i guess bridges compares with otto porter since they both can shoot the 3 ball as well

Everyone was knocking Washington's supporting cast around Fultz last year, but I continue to believe in Matisse Thybulle as being an NBA talent.

He's an excellent defender and he shot 40% from three on 1.7 makes per game. I think he compares very favorably to Justin Holiday.

Cincinatti's junior G/F Jacob Evans got a lot of shine in last year's draft threads.

6'6" 210 pounds with a strong defensive foundation and a pretty established jumpshot.

He's pretty apt both as an on-ball player and a catch-and-shoot guy.

Should be a late first trade up target, given all the 2nd round ammunition we have to play with.

Weird feeling that looking at the top prospects is kind of useless from Sixers perspective. On the other hand, good thing that I really love the potential of some players outside the consensus top 5. Kevin Knox, Troy Brown and Wendell Carter are probably my favorite freshmen.

If you guys catch any A&M games this year to take a look at Robert Williams, don't be surprised if D.J. Hogg pops off the screen for you.

6'8" 220 pound F that plays a bit like a diluted Gordon Hayward. Plays good defense, functions as an on-ball distributor and handler, and can sling it from deep.

Short arms and average athleticism are knocks, though.

I think like this year there won't be a roster spot for a late first/early 2nd. Not gonna get too into the prospects in that range.

Robert Williams is a guy I want if Lakers' pick is between 6-8

Purdue's Vince Edwards is another intriguing on-ball F. Almost entered the 2017 draft.

His jumpshot is lights out. He's 6'8" 220 with a 7 foot wingspan. Defensively, he's inconsistent, though.

He needs to be infinitely more aggressive with it being his team now. I feel like he deferred to Swanigan way too much last year.

Edwards would be best friends with Fultz, too.

Apparently he watches Nickelodeon and eats candy all the time.

I know he has a stress fracture in his foot (NAVICULAR, SPOOKY!), but I'm definitely going to watch Markis McDuffie from Wichita State. 6'8 wing that has played well on both ends. Kinda shat the bed towards the end of last season.

Both those Wichita State kids coming off foot surgery are interesting players. I was very impressed with Shamet last year.

It’s pointless looking at Robert Williams. I know BC. He’s not drafting him so I’m not going to even get excited about them.

Does anyone know why Lamar Peters is getting lottery love?
