The remaining cap for the sixers is supposedly already allotted to the extension of Covington's contract so it really does not make any sense to add additional salary/players now. We are already past the asset collection stage. As someone mentioned, the Nets might accept that offer since they really need some talent/draft picks there.

I think that the accurate projection for the Sixers should be at least 10 more wins than this, and the fact that they have us at 34 makes me think that they are assuming Embiid won't be healthy.

I don't get the Miami hype either. Dion Waiters just got paid, you know he isn't going on a run like last year again. Eventually people will realize that there are guys who are professionals, and guys who are professionals when their money is on the line

I never trust teams who get hot in the dog days of the NBA season. The overall intensity and grind day in and day out just isn't there when the top teams are looking towards the playoffs and the bottom teams towards the lottery. There was a brief period last season where you would have thought the Warriors were in trouble, Dario Saric was all NBA, and Dion Waiters was your MVP.

We'll see, will certainly help Lonzo because KCP can take the better of either of the Guard matchups now. Good signing and I'm glad it's only for 1 season, can pursue him next year if we want to.

KCP, Lopez, Ingram, Randle, and Ball should be a balanced lineup. With other teams imploding, I could see the pick falling into 8 to 12 range. However, with injuries and personalities things could change quickly.

apparently saying that you would rather have Robert Covington over Brandon Ingram is "baiting a fanbase". Seriously, I got a warning for my opinion.

Love the KCP deal for LAL. If PG/WB/LeBron say no to LAL next off-season, they still have KCP's bird rights to re-sign him on a longer deal. Also, assuming no injuries, our odds of keeping the LAL pick are extremely high. They might be fighting for the 8th seed if Ingram takes a leap forward and Ball impresses.

I don't have any issues with it. It's just im surprised about it. More than 15 years here and i think its my first time to get called for it.

If that counts as baiting, then I think we need to investigate all the Noel vs Okafor debate. Probably will have atleast 5 suspended accounts there

That mod is really bad. If his logic was applied to his own posts then he should be warned/suspended as well.

KCP to LA fills a giant hole in their starting lineup. The odds of the LA pick going to BOS just went down a bit. As of right now I'd put the odds close to 50/50.
