I mean talentwise I believe a healthy dominant Embiid with the right pieces could. But realistically he cannot because he has proven time and time again that he can't stay healthy ever. It also leads you to believe that maybe the load is too big for him and he needs to take a step back. He has been playing without a Robin for his whole career doesn't help.

Doc said 50% chance embiid will be ready for the start of next series. Not ideal.

Harden can't even score against Nets. Maxey can't either when Embiid is not triple teamed. The load is too big for Embiid because there is no alternative.

It's Embiid, he is always injured in the second round, why do you guys act surprised?

Have to hope Rivers is lying for competitive purposes.

If not, this isn't just "bad luck" the guy is made of porcelain. He fell on his rear end on a routine play and somehow sprained his knee. Not normal. He simply can't stay healthy. Every year it's the same story. You can't win championships with someone who's hurt that often.

I just went back and watched the clip after reading your post. The play is pretty routine and cam Johnson doesn’t do anything except lie on the ground and embiid walks back into him. It’s pretty routine and certainly not something cam actively did imo.

On the play he fell backwards over Cam Johnson and spun around. You see this happen a dozen times a week with NBA players. His knee didn't get rammed into. He didn't get his leg pinned underneath him when diving for a loose ball. His knee didn't buckle after a dunk. It was a fairly innocuous play. I saw nothing mechanically there that would indicate knee sprain. Yet somehow he did. Such is life of an injury prone player.

I don't agree, Cam tries to protect himself by tripping Joel's feet at the end, that's how he twisted the leg. I'm not saying Cam did it in a malicious way, but it happened

Yeah, and as he does that he casually trips Joel before he protects himself.... We don't disagree,

Biid better be healthy for round 2 or it’s going to be a quick series.

Heat now up 2-1.

What are the Heat's chances if Giannis comes back?
What are their chances if Giannis doesn't return?

Bucks are in trouble without Giannis. He might not be 100 percent this series but they should win with him even at say 70 percent. If we can just get past Celtics and stay healthy we will be in a really good spot especially if it’s the Heat without Tyler.

Never...ever bet against LeBron. He's still amazing at 38 years old.

Guy is just too physically freakish. Of course, He works hard too.
