- PnR defense
- Running offense from the post
- interesting to see if Nuggets can sustain their good defense on LAL in the paint and force them to win it by shooting 3s

Billy Donovan signing with the bulls could be a blessing for us as he might want Horford.
Young and satoransky aren’t that great but it would save money and give us bench help

Don't forget Eversley is their GM now. But they have Carter at C. Seems to me they should be a Harris trade candidate.

Awesome they can take them both for Porter, Young and Sato.
We save money, then trade Jrich for Dinwiddie
Dinwiddie/Sato
Thybulle /Milton/Smith
Porter/Korkmaz
Simmons /Young
Embiid /Pelle
Horford can mentor Carter or even play alongside him since he can guard 3 and 4 unlike Embiid

That Jerami Grant guy looks pretty good. What can the Sixers do to acquire a player like that?

Lakers got out rebounded by 19 (25vs 44) tonight. Both teams scored with atleast 50% FG%.

To play big you have to score on high fg% and out rebound your opponent, Nuggets playing by the playbook.

No need. Ben will play that role once we get a PG.

There was this one possession when Jerami Grant was at the post. Then he got doubled. All the Commentators were reacting how its surprising to see Jerami Grant getting double team. And I believe he got the first assist of the game at that possession in the third quarter

And it reminded me of why Jerami Grant didn’t worked for us.

Remember how he was good until he has to dribble and drive to the lane?

I think with Murray and Jokic’s gravity to pull the defense to the perimeter it allows Grant to post and also provide him space to dribble drive to the paint. And most importantly, all he has to do with the Nuggets was to shoot and dunk.

Remember those amazing pass by Murray down the stretch. Where he was at the air and has no one to pass to and got it to the open man (Milsap or Grant) at the last second? Ever wonder where was Jokic and the Lakers’ rim protector during that possession?

LAL showed again in G3 why they probably have the best coaching staff in the league. That zone defense down the stretch got the Nuggets off guard, it lead to a lot of Nuggets TOs and Lakers fastbreak points. They can’t run their 2 man game with Jokic and Murray while Jokic doesn’t know how to hurt the lakers at the top of the key against a smaller defender. He can shoot it, but it wont be a good shot. He can drive to the rim, but he will be met by 2-3 rim protectors AD and LeBron and sometimes D12.

What makes the Lakers special, something we should try to emulate, is they can play big (which suits both AD and Bron) with pace.

Nuggets on the other hand showed how to beat the bully ball game, outrebound your opponent and shoot with high FG%.

I expect Lakers to do a lot of a better job on crashing the boards next game

Look who’s at the bottom 4. Those 4 guys takes a lot of open 3s.

Btw, are they good shooters?

That can't happen as long as Tobias is here though.

Jerami grant was initially an athletic slasher with defensive potential. He has rounded out his game just enough to stay on the floor and make a impact. His length and quickness gives him flexibility on both ends. Hes adequate to defend out on the peremiter while also being a deterrent in the paint.

We currently do not have that type of player.

The Thing with Jerami Grant is that when he was in Philly he was raw as hell. Just like TJ here is a guy that continued to work on his his game and has gotten better and better each season. What we see now is not what he was when he was here. Good for him.

We couldn't afford to wait for him to develop because we had to "win now"!!!

Heat used zone on 20+% of it’s possessions.

Yep it's the 76ers way. We build them up so other teams can reap the rewards. Or we sign them when other teams say they are on a decline or they are just playing lights out for a contract....es normal.
