Agree 100%.

Kobblehead wrote:You have to flank Joel Embiid with multilevel scorers that can space off the ball. It makes no sense to surround him with Jimmy Butler and Ben Simmons.

SG sized players:
- James Harden
- Klay Thompson
- Bradley Beal
- Jamal Murray
- Devin Booker
- Zach Lavine
- D'Angelo Russell

Forward sized players:
- Kevin Durant
- Kawhi Leonard
- Paul George
- Khris Middleton
- Tobias Harris
- Luka Doncic
- Jayson Tatum

Hinkie and Colangelo screwed up by passing on multiple players on those lists. We still have a chance to pivot out of our current situation and attempt to get one of these guys.

And getting a PG-sized version of these guys is very doable, as well.

Don't get me wrong, I like Ben and his game, but I think it's time to get a final starter while his value is extremely high. I'd feel better about signing Butler and Harris to massive contracts if we did that.

Giannis may have poked his head into the LeBron James tier this year, but unless he gets a MVP-calibur running mate like Wade or a nearly perfect offensive player like Kyrie, he'll run into the same roadblocks that a young LeBron did in the postseason.

Still very much in play though.

I was counting on the Raptors bench being bad this series like they were against the Sixers. These last two games the bench has shown up and taken some pressure off of Kawhi.
Defensively they have done a good job on Giannis as well.

Also, I didn’t count on Bledsoe being almost non existent on offense. I still think the Bucks take it but only because they have home court. In 7.

Rudy Gobert being 3rd team all-NBA is a head-scratcher, to me.

I actually thought Derrick Favors was noticeably the Jazz' best bigman in the playoffs.

Good to see defense is still considered, albeit it still needs more recognition.

Good for Blake Griffin.

The evolution of his game has been incredible.

I don't like how the C situation shook out. They got 2 of the 3 player correct, but the order is off.

1st team: Embiid
2nd team: Jokic
3rd team: Vucevic or Towns

Vucevic has an argument, he got Magic to playoffs and elevated his game considerably compared to previous years. Towns has zero argument as of now, career loser who puts empty stats and is a terrible defender. He is a more talented Booker but that's it, they both have dat loser mentality.

If TOR beats MIL... then I’m going to get mad about that series.

This series has been ridiculously fun to watch.

I look at it the complete opposite way. It means we are only preventing some Embiid diarrhea or a Kawhi miracle from being in the Finals.

That’s exactly why I would be mad upset. Because the Sixers were an Embiid bellyache away from a trip to the Finals.

What's done is done though. It makes me more optimistic for the future that we aren't as far away from getting decimated by GSW as I thought.

That’s true, but the other part of this is every game the Raps win increases the likelihood that Kawhi stays IMO.

Bud just seems destinated to keep falling short of the Finals.

I'm glad Toronto is beating Milwaukee. Can't stand that a thrown together, BS squad like the Bucks, has a chance to get to the Finals.

Kawhi’s experience.

Difference between Giannis and Kawhi is like difference between Biid and Butler.

Biid is better but is inexperienced. Butler knows how to pace himself and know how to set himself to attack. Butler skillset is also more refined, so it gives him more consistency.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.
