What do you make of Halliburton being mocked as high as #6? I was pretty taken aback, personally.

Purely from a numbers and weak draft perspective, it makes sense. 75% at the rim, 43% mid range, 41% from three, 82% FT. Has a high STL%, AST%, and is 6'5. I don't watch enough Iowa State to give a fair analysis, I know I was intrigued by him last year. He doesn't get to the line nearly enough nor is a prolific enough scorer. If I get a chance, I'll have to watch a replay of one of their games, but he's not even a realistic prospect for us and they are garbage.

His form is concerning, but man this dude has some burst and can score at the rim. I wouldn't be surprised if he tweaked his form and became a legitimate player in the league.

I've gradually warmed up to Saben Lee after initially being put off by him. I wasn't impressed with him last year after he took over for an injured Darius Garland, but I like the growth he's made as a PG and on the defensive end. Seems like a quality prospect, at this point (if teams are open to having a 6'2" and under guy that can't shoot).

Yea, he gets to the line at a fairly elite rate for a guard. His first step, explosion, and finishing at the basket would be enough for me to draft him, but it would have to be with the intention of developing his shot for a year or two. Since he's a junior and a sub 80% FT shooter, he's like a homeless Morant. You just gotta hope to fix his issues, which are hard to fix.

A lot of good stuff on tonight.

Lee vs. Kentucky guards

Ayo vs. Cassius

My most anticipated game is going to be LSU vs. Mizzou, though. My two biggest draft crushes. Dru Smith vs. Skyler Mays

If Shamet is a type of player we want, we should take a look at Immanuel Quickley. Dude doesn't miss when open. Sucks at the rim though.

Cal needs to just anoint Maxey as the unquestioned #1 and make everyone play off of him. Dude is a offensive star in the making and it isn't getting enough touches to show it.

Dru Smith: 20 points, 5 boards, 4 assists, 3 steals
Skyler Mays: 23 points, 5 boards, 2 assists

Man, I love these two guys. I'm all the way in. 1st round grade for both of them.

Looks like Mich St. / Illinois was a crazy game.

Tillman balled. Ayo played well.

Is Jordan Nwora not the perfect future 3 for this team?

I see him as a rich man's Mike Scott.

I liked him more when he initially emerged as a sophomore. He hasn't improved since then. He's basically a one dimensional shooter with no defense or ball movement.

Him being big and having a jumper will get him drafted high, though.

Not huge on Nwora, but he is likely a NBA player

Saben Lee is better than Hagans, and Hagans hurts Maxey a lot

Quickley to me brings very little to the table and even his shooting form is weird, dunno, he is way smaller than Shamet, not as versatile

Tough game for Kira Lewis against Auburn. Philly's own Samir Doughty really popped on the screen, though.

Haven't seen Nwora this season, but from what I've seen, no.

Cal lost again, but Matt Bradley played well again.

Why are none of the youtube highlight channels making Matt Bradley videos? Am I the only one that sees him as a Top 10 pick?

Here's a vid from last month of him against Elleby and Washington St.

Looks like an offensive star.

Dunks on Elleby in transition at the 3:00 mark.

smitty spam (xavier tillman edition):

plays at the top where joel and al horford play.
has gotten better every year.
20games starting at pf, 5games at c. is he gaining man strength, losing baby fat? idk.
doesnt just reach for steals. plays solid chest to chest defense.
less than ideal closing out on shooters.

v. Ill, game winning rebound and dunk swooping in from the top of the key.
17pts/11rbs, 3asts/2tos, 2stls/1blk

last 5games:
12pts/11rbs, 2.8asts/1.6tos, 2stls/2.2blks
462/364/714

bigten conference:
14pts/10.5rbs, 3.5asts/1.9tos, 1.5stls/2.6blks
