Re: Fantasy Trade Thread
Im starting to think John Collins is a red flag, have you seen how bad he plays lately?
The way he’s shooting, I’d rather have Bball Paul at PF.

Might be time to re-visit Mo Bamba. His shooting is improving as of late. Starting him at PF next to Embiid probably vaults us to the #1 defense and also dramatically improves our rebounding.

Sixers:
Maxey/Milton
Harden/Jrich
McDaniels/Melton
Tucker/Niang/McDermott
Biid/Reed/Harrell
Do we need 2 Meltons and 2 Niangs?
Feels like a really convoluted way for us to mainly steal value (without really making the team better IMO)
The Spurs don't this even without the pick.
Hornets take the actually expiring DLo over the big expiring a year from now Tobias.
Rozier/Hayward for DLo/McDaniels at least feels like an interesting straight up swap between those two teams.

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread
Patrick Williams continues to make sense as a trade target.
He's healthy and playing the best defense of his career. And he's always shooting the ball well. Is super low maintenance so he would fit us like a glove.

The Bulls need a PF. We know Eversley likes Harris and Thybulle.

Have no idea what the Sixers have available that the Pistons would be interested in.

What would that trade look like? Tobi/Matisse/Reed for Williams/White/Vucevic?

I don't really think the Bulls would put Williams on the block right now. The real wild card is LaVine. We know Morey likes LaVine, there have been previous rumors of a Harris-LaVine deal, and LaVine got benched and has been sniping a little at the coaching staff there. His numbers are down. Would he be available? Questionable, but maybe.
But more realistically, Bulls fan on the trade board suggested White/DeRozan/Simonovic for Harris/Thybulle/Reed. Only problem with that is DDR really needs to go to a 3rd team.

Weird, I’d much rather keep DDR than Lavine if I’m a Chicago fan. I think Lavine’s career might be cratering because of all his knee issues.

Which is the problem with most of names that get brought up.
We either don't have the matching salary or don't have the assets.
So it's basically either a big deal with Tobias or a deal for a new 7th/8th man with Thybulle and fillers.

Been thinking about this but I can’t come up with anything that the Magic will want from our team.
A guy who can be cheaper to acquire is Usman Garuba. I see him as possibly the next Al Horford.
He averaged 12-12-2spg-2bpg per 36
he can guard 1-5
known to be a good passer
High bball IQ
And has a lot of upside with his 3pt shooting
Another one is Santi Aldama, but he’s a bit mainstream now. Actually Grizz has a lot of players that we can have. Even Xavier Tillman or Brandon Clarke would be great as back-up big for us.

Yes sir.
I think Bulls should trade Lavine, ASAP. Even if his knee turns out to be fine, he’s not a winning player.

Tobi/Melton for Lavine.
Then we ship Lavine somewhere like the Wolves.
Melton or Caruso
Derozan
Tobias
Pat Williams
vuc
^ thats a winning roster

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread
I still think if we made a deal with Chicago, Caruso would be the target.
Him and Covington are at the top of my "somewhat realistic targets" that could come in help this team immediately. Elite deflections guys, multiple years left on their deals at reasonable numbers, proven role players that could come in and fit immediately.
Caruso gets bonus points for being able to run the team in Maxey lineups. Cov get bonus points for familiarity with both our stars and the ability to play some 5 in switch units.
If Morey can flip Thybulle and scraps for either it would be a pretty big help to the rotation.

Wish we could get in on Bey, but doubt we have the assets. Best we could offer is Thybulle and a filler like Shake or Springer. Can't see Detroit entertaining that.

Here is my attempt to consolidate all of that:
CHI gets Harris and Thybulle
LAC gets Robinson and Fournier
NYK gets DeRozan
PHI gets Caruso, Covington, Kennard, and Coffey

I think its easier to trade for Lavine. Then I dont think Clips is high with Robinson, when they already have Zubac and are very comfortable in playing small.
