Didn't Phillip Wheeler play for the Indianapolis Colts some years ago?

I think JHS is a legit NBA talent. I hope we hold on to him.

We need to lose this game badly, probably one of the most important games left...

I also like butler as a back up PG.
Maxey/McCain/Butler/JHS
Grimes/Oubre/
Any of those point guard guys big enough to play together that they are worth a SG spot?

It's almost like they don't even need Tyrese

Alex Reese
Potentially good center depth

So it's a given Drummond will take his 5m player option next season?
I hope not.

Better financial decision than flipping Whoppers at Burger King.

There's always the hope that Dallas offers him a bigger deal and he opts out.MVP1992 wrote:76ciology wrote:M2J wrote:

I'll chip in $100 more if Dallas offers the $5m

Let’s say we get the luck of the balls and get the second pick, should we pick Dylan Harper? Ignoring the fact he is a weak 3P shooter and has defensive concerns, shouldn’t we take a chance on a SF? Ace Bailey doesn’t feel like the guy though.

Yes, because none of our 6 current guards can be an alpha. Dylan Harper is a guard who you can just give him the ball and he can be an engine for your offense even against team’s with good defense.
If im playing NBA 2K, I’d draft Harper and trade 1-2 of our guards.

I have only seen his highlights, but he looks shifty and crafty. (Although people said the same about Fultz)

This is a scenario where I’d consider trading all of the big 3.

Re: Season Game Thread
You don't have to rush into that decision right away IMO.
Even if Harper is legit, it does take guards a bit to really truly take off. Having Maxey and McCain as secondary ballhandlers and elite off ball threats is useful. I also think he is big enough to handle guarding some 3s. But regardless, you don't rush to trade Maxey asap in that scenario....even if longterm you will have to make a choice if only for money reasons (IMO I still see McCain as a 6th man who gets a ton of minutes longterm but to each their own)

Fair, I just don't want to "waste" one of the guys because of lack of playing time. In that scenario, you'd have Harper/Maxey/McCain/Grimes and only 96 MPG (assuming no 3-guard lineups, which I'd hope we minimize).
You could have two of them play 28 mpg and the other two play 20 mpg, but it feels like a waste when one of those talents could be traded for a wing, where we have no depth.
