Top 6-8, yeah, I think so. I mean, we all wanted #4, but again, that's pushing it. Even with they finished with the 4th odds, they could easily jump into the top 3. Just give me 6-8 and I'll be happy.

Dlos early struggles last year coupled with the nick Young drama helped in that department but it's clear now that dlo is the more valuable player. We can't be mad about that though the Lakers got him first. It is sad that out of the first 4 picks in that draft jah is the least valuable.

If that were the case, I wouldn't be sad at all. The reality of it, is that he isn't as valuable as probably 9 of the top 13 from that draft. That's the sad part.

Well on the other hand I think you can argue that he's 4th best out of the top 9.

Really the more annoying thing is how we didn't get the heat pick.

Well I disagree. The disappointment involved with not getting a #10 pick, was nothing compared to watching the 76ers make a bad #3 pick after tanking the entire season.

Jamal Murray has zero (0-16) FGs in 4 games (60 minutes played). Entering Anthony Bennett territory.

The Lakers pick conveying this year would be a win in the MCW trade so the only question is how much of a win will it be?

It conveying at 4 is obviously the fantasy, but if it conveys at 8 it is still a huge win.

The Lakers aren't going to suddenly win 35+ games this year. You don't double your win total when your primary addition is someone like Ingram, who is a terrific prospect, but not ready to be a difference maker right away. They will have their ups and downs, but I think they end up under 30 wins, and I'm still more concerned with them being in the bottom 3 than I am in them being 10th.

The Wolves would be smart to trade Wiggins before he's due for an extension. I can't believe how hard people got duped on him.

I'd take him on the Sixers in a heartbeat. We need some wing athletes to run with Simmons.

Wiggins isn't improving as much as he would need to to reach his potential, but he is still a terrific prospect.

It's weird how he turned from a wallflower in college to a black hole in the NBA.

Guys, what are yours opinion about the Wizards, Mavs and Pelicans? They are tanking? Or they are just bad teams?

They aren't intentionally tanking, but they could use more basketball guys like Colangelo.

Anyone with an ounce of evaluating ability knew he wasn't anywhere near as good as the casual perception of him was, but who knew he'd essentially be Nick Young-esche?

Emmanuel Mudiay just had 24 points in the first quarter on 9-10 shooting

Career high is 30, would be funny if he didn't break it. Didn't score in second quarter, up to 4 turnovers now.

T-Rex Randle has been looking pretty damn good for the Lakers in this early season.

Agreed. He's finally using his strength to finish at the rim.

I know, he's starting to remind me of his Kentucky days.

He doesn't have all the skills, but the ones that he does have are pretty good. You take that with an elite motor and you have a good player.

Love him from the neck up.

I was a big fan of Randle (UK) and a fan of Dlo. I really feel gross liking this many Lakers.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

If Wiggins is not a keeper for Minnesota, suddenly their future is a lot less bright. That leaves Dunn and Lavine as the only young players with any promise to go along with KAT. Dieng is a useful player and so is Rubio, but they aren't all star level. This could turn into the Pelicans version 2 with Dunn and Lavine playing the parts of Holiday and Evans.

Sixers are still in a better position IMO.

I think you can still get a damn good return on Wiggins even if he's overrated. He's a guy a mediocre team with a star can sell to its fanbase as an emerging star. Like, I could see Wiggins being the centerpiece in a trade for Cousins, or George -- not that this would happen, but that kind of idea.

Wiggins will always be hard to gauge. He puts up the numbers, but doesn't impact basketball games much. You don't "feel" his presence in a game. They can always ask for a super high price because of his numbers, but not sure the market will ever generate the super high price they'll ask because of his impact.
