Embiid posts up the most by far out of anyone?

it's elite at it, Scores above league average on 1.08 points per possession (Which is elite as hell, for reference that's similar on efficiency to a Harden ISO) on stupid volume and put teams on the penalty.

If you surrounded Embiid with four shooters, that would be a better fit, but I’m also not sure it naturally works. Embiid still struggles with double teams four years into his NBA career. That it remains a way to at least limit him is a significant knock against him. Whereas Simmons has found more and more ways to counter his limitations and has figured the game out, Embiid is largely the same player he was two seasons ago.

Embiid would benefit from better spacing if the Sixers traded Simmons, but it wouldn’t matter if you could still double him effectively.

Simmons, on the other hand, looks very much like he could be a dominant force if the Sixers moved Embiid and put four shooters around him. There’s no reason you couldn’t build a “Milwaukee Light” with Simmons surrounded by shooters the way the Bucks have with Giannis Antetokounmpo. You can rightfully counter with the Bucks’ issues with the postseason, but that’s a problem to be solved in the postseason. You need to get to “our team is good enough to win a title” first, and the Sixers have not been.

Ok, so we have an Aussie Ben Simmons fan here. Duly noted.

Some obscure site from before the season started? Wonderful source. Embiid’s mid-ranger is cash now. Kinda ruins old’ Matty’s assertions there. I stand by my original declaration.

In 20-plus years you'll find only one player who took at least four mid-rangers per game and made a higher percentage than Embiid is making this season: Stephen Curry in 2012.

I wouldn't count on it sticking.

Kobe/Shaq won 3x in a row cmon now
Curry can take a backseat as it’s been shown Curry/Embiid healthy is a championship

He was being sarcastic about something that was clearly a silly argument.

I know lol Syntax is talking nonsense with saying Curry/Embiid wouldn’t work.

Anyway Harris played really well can’t expect him to go off every game but this a great start.

MAN! It is absolutely awesome to see the Garden hoppin tonight the way it is! So glad to see the Knicks back in the playoffs. If we end up playing them in the second round, it's going to be epic! I realize they could potentially become the enemy, but right now I'm just glad to see them back in the postseason. Spike Lee, that atmosphere, the Garden...The NBA just isn't the same without it.

I, for sure, hope we play the Knicks instead of the Hawks.

The Hawks are just one of those match ups where we start to play against math.

I was thinking the same thing.

The NBA is so much better when the northeast teams (Celtics, Sixers, Knicks) are all in the playoffs. Chicago is great, too.

Man, how miserable is it to be a Suns fan? Best season in probably over a decade, get the 2 seed, all for a first round matchup with the defending champions. Just brutal.

Last week some guy here was laughing that Lakers is a championship contender

So what? Lakers aren't anywhere near contending this year lmao...A lucky 3 point win against a bog average Warriors side isn't going to change my mind

Still don't like him. Or DeAndre Hunter, for that matter. Both have been productive, but do nothing for me.

Well that was fun. I was rooting for the Knicks, but that ending was great. These opening games have not disappointed at all. It's going to be a grind for sure, but so far, it's been entertaining.

I need young Gargamel and the Hawks to win. I'm trying to watch the Sixers in Atlanta.

I'm glad the Knicks lost, everyone in MSG looked so happy. Now they are not. They are unhappy knicks fans. Good.
