Well average is a relative term

It was an average Embiid game, which is good for a lot of players

He’s hurt, obviously

He struggles against quick, athletic centers like Claxton. Daniel Gafford, Clint Capela, Al Segun of the Rockets...They all have given him trouble.

Embiid listened to that hack Hakeem Olajuwon and had a terrible game

I was excited to see Doc go with the 3 guard closing lineup in a big game.

It works because of Melton. He just plays bigger than he is. 6'2 guard that's out there blocking shots and getting rebounds. What an off-season addition! Morey hit a home run with that.

I think we're an athletic switchable big away. If I were Morey, I would do all that I could to get Chris Boucher, Bol Bol, KJ Martin, or Johnathan Issac before the deadline.

We're not going to create off the dribble or stop dribble penetration in the playoffs.

This team needs at least a real backup Center and a wing defender who can also give you some offense.

This is exactly what I want as well. I'm afraid Morey is not going to make a move the more we win though. I hope I'm wrong

And also against slow centers like Baynes or Gasol. But he’s best against Cody Zeller, Plumlee, Magic or Lakers.

Seriously, i dont mind. All he need is to take those jumpers that James will set him up with. Then shoot over these bigs on ISO. Sometimes you made them and sometimes you dont. I just think he had an off game tonight

The Magic have a bunch of Centers. Trade for Mo Bamba.

Biid struggling. But you have a lot of firepower like Melton,Harden and Maxey who stepped up. Harris also was OK. Whats not to like? We’re a hard team to beat in a 7 game series. Not even the Celtics have this much firepower.

Cody Zeller? Seriously bro?
Embiid pushed an agenda tonight and it bit him in the arse. Simmons D' him up on a few occasions and Claxton got to him as well. Embiid was up in his own head tonight because of them. He wanted to humiliate Simmons, Claxton was the real obstacle tonight. He's going to have to overcome that. I'll say this, I wouldn't want to play a healthy Brooklyn team in a 7 game series.

we have an athletic, good defensive center in Reed but Doc doesn't want to play him.

What's the guarantee doc plays another Center over Montrez? let's be real here.

The minute Reed was taking his minutes, Harrell complained and he got them back

I honestly don't know why he didn't play Reed tonight. I thought I remembered Doc saying he would play either Reed or Harrell based on the matchup. Tonight... Against an athletic, active frontcourt Reed should have been playing. I like Harrell when the matchup is right, but he wasn't playable tonight. Should of been Reed all day. Even so, I think we need to add another big. Mo Bamba is as good as gone at the deadline. We should really try and make a move for him or Boucher.

The fact Niang could guard Ben ok, while Montrez got destroyed should make him feel ashamed...

Bamba would probably cost us valuable assets that we sorely need. Isaac probably wouldn't due to his injury history.

Would be interested in seeing the last time the Sixers won a game where the opposition shot 64.5% from the field. Thats nuts to win with that happening. I guess going 35-36 from the line was just enough. Maybe Im wrong but its seems like that Wanatabe guy always plays well against the Sixers.

Speak for yourself

I think the Sixers are probably roughly as good as anyone but Boston. Unfortunately, thats who they are going to have to beat most likely without homefield advantage in the playoffs. Not trying to be a debbie downer. This team has really surprised me the last couple of weeks but still not sure they are in Boston's league. Would be more optimistic if the coach was not Doc.
