The fact of the matter is Embiid had an awful fourth quarter and it was a large part with why they lost game. It honestly happens a lot with him bad performance late in pivotal playoff games. Its also true its not the only reason they lost the game this supporting cast sucks. But Im old school when the best player fails late in a close game he is going to have to shoulder a lot of the blame. You dont have to agree with me. I love Embiid in a lot of ways. He just cant be the leader of a team by himself he is too immature and prone to coming up short in a big game. The closest we came to the ECF was a team with Butler and Redick two leaders.

Biid played the entire second half because yet again we lost the game once he sat....this comes after he scored 50 to win game 3....and after him getting us back in THIS one for his ft line parade in the 3rd

He did technically strengthen the bench, but the injury to Melton messed everything up. Hield has shown nothing since being traded here and no way a 38 year old Lowry should be starting at this point in his career.

Agreed in hindsight. The problem was the poor 3rd quarter which made him do it. If they held the lead going into the 4th then they probably rest him as normal.

Lowry and Batum were truly the problem this game.

They ran an offense that involved Kyle, and he was forcing passes as opposed to taking open shots. Just confusing offense

The Sixers have to be careful; this is one of the tricks teams would pull against them and Embiid. They would let him showboat until he tires or hurts himself down the stretch. The key is pacing.
