So KJ and McCain are now like 12.8M, add a VM and you're up to 15M. The problem would be finding a team who can take three guys, or is willing to waive a couple, and has the player you need.

Nope, his $4m is already 120% of rookie scale for his pick. He's been officially signed for a while now

He's not wrong though. Must be nice to be able to go 5-20 and still win.

Tatum gave him 50 while Joel was needing pep talks from PJ Tucker.

He needs to just win and stop worrying about everyone else.

Bro, you're like a GB troll on the Sixers board. Anytime anyone says anything good about Embiid, you're here to throw cold water on it. It's a joke. It's also true. Tatum has the luxury of management that was able to build around him. Also lets not forget that Tatum was ass that whole series, and then got hot in game 7. Props to him, that was a big game, but his performance this year, further indicates that at best he's top 10 in the NBA when healthy, maybe top 8. He never had to carry a team ever. When he did he's failed every time. Embiid had a bad game, 9/10 Sixers lose. Tatum has a bad game they win atleast half the time.

Reggie Jackson and Tyrese Maxey backcourt can’t work? I think it can be good.

At the VM I like this signing. Playoff experience is a nice plus. Let's face it, he's not going to get significant minutes in key games/moments.

Not sure if people understand how bad it was against the Knicks.

Jo said that he can't run or jump. He said he shouldn't have come back. His knee was being drained after each game. Before each game he was saying he didn't think he could play. I really hope he's okay now, and now pushing himself for the Olympics, because I dont' know, we need him this season, but this isn't inspiring much confidence for next year.

I'm watching, and haven't gotten to any part of it, but he's said he's felt fine during the playoffs as well, so I don't know how much I believe him.

Biid is simply at the point where he just has to get it done

Giannis was there. Jokic was there. Tatum was (and kinda still is lol) there. Its easy to overlook the fact that Giannis "only" won because Kyrie and Harden got hurt and KD's foot is too big. The fact that he got swept and has ironically been more injury prone than Biid and is still bagless....doesn't matter as he has one. Jokic got swept or damn near two years in a row, hasn't beaten a 50 win team in the playoffs and had that groan worthy "oh look at him not sit down; he's locked in yo" pic scrubbed off the internet....doesn't matter...he has one. Tatum had multiple stinkers, got carried, yaddi yaddi yadda....he has one.

You can shut down all of the noise by just getting one. Injuries, other guys being ass, bad coaching, whatever....no one cares lol. Fair or not and its not....as Giannis' not being able to carry a team while Eric Bledsoe pissed down his leg shouldn't be held against him, Jokic' teams were injured to high hell and the Wolves were a damn good team built to beat them no shame in that...and Tatum getting carried doesn't matter as he was still defending, rebounding and even dropping dimes despite the Mik level shooting (something Biid needs to be better at btw). And if none of them had one the above reasons would not be a good enough excuse despite being very legit imo. It comes with the territory of being a great player.

Biid's injury woes are unfortunate but he keeps coming into seasons the same weight, keeps wanting to chase records and awards and be the whole offense, and keeps being reckless as **** at the worst possible times lol. And yes some of that is due to FO being bad but not all of it and its time Biid actually shows some adjustment on his end. I hope this Olympic run allows him to realize that he can effect the game without the ball as well as him being in game shape quicker because otherwise it just feels like we will hit the same beats again and this may be the end of the road at that point.

If you see the video, he's got a sleeve on his surgically repaired knee. When he's not in a game. Not sure what that's about. I'm just worried at this point.

I'll be honest, listening to that interview, unfortunately, he's talking about hismelf as one of the best scorers ever. I dont' see him trying to trim down his scoring, I see him wanting to keet it atleast at 31 or 32 ppg, just he now has PG. Unfortunately Jo seems to still be chasing those accolades. Not sure if he just knows the clock is ticking on his abilty to stay healthy, and he'd rather go for something that is more tangeable.

He needs rest big time. I really hope Drummond gets at least 20 starts and significant minutes. Forget about the stats and go for a ring! We need a sizable 4 for the disaster scenario if Embiid goes down.

I did think we were a little light on playmaking guards. Considering Lowry's age, you would ideally have an adequate back-up behind him. I would have thought that Dowtin would be fine, and would have rather signed two forwards.

As long as he's not promised regular rotation minutes, I'm fine with this deal. Now get me one of Hayward/Osman/Brissett.

He doesn't get it, still focused on scoring in the meaningless RS and still out of shape.

Also, shoudn't be talking abouth other players when his carreer has been a dissapointment when it matters.Just shut the f up and get better.

Hope he proves me wrong but i don't see us getting a championship with him as our centerpiece. He's too inmature and he doesn't changes.

If he’s scoring the most points per minute of all time, then he should continue to score. Is this a trick question?

He should divert all of his focus to the playoff success and do everything he can to be healthy and in shape at that time of the year, if this is his goal.
Unfortunately, it is also possible that he wants to collect regular season stats and accolades so that if the Sixers don't succeed in playoffs he can always speak of what ifs, say that he was injured in the playoffs, didn't have a good enough team around him etc., while his regular season numbers can prove that he was one of the greatest players of all time. This is a bit dark take, but it may be true.
