As of this morning I have seen a few things floating around that the Sixers were impressed with Henson's workout... enough that they are again exploring a move into the top 10 (trade with GSW at #7 or TOR at #8) to potentially get him. Was just curious where this information came from? Thanks alot.

Not sure how to answer this but i can confirm they love henson

And aside from rebounding not even close to Iguodala in any other skill at this time, so the question still stands, if you want to compete why are you trading your best player and replacing him with a not as good player...unless of course they think turner is 'just as good' as Iguodala at which point the organization new ownership demonstrates less intelligence than the previous regime?

Which is it? Turner does what Iguodala does but cheaper or is it to see what you have with Turner, who isn't a point guard but some how needs to handle the ball?

If it's to see what you have with turner, then they shouldn't pretend it is that they think turner is just as good as Iguodala but cheaper because no rational person will believe that

why would they not trade to number 7 for lamb but they would for henson when lamb has been mocked AHEAD OF HENSON in every single mock ive ever seen...

they want length, scoring, and shooting right? lamb happens to have ALL 3 OF THOSE THINGS and is only a sophomore coming out

i just dont see what they dont like about this kid

Lamb can shoot, I'm not sure he'll be a big time scorer in the NBA. He's really frail and has little to no physicality in his game at all. I don't know if he'll be able to take it to the rack when there is contact. He could just end up being a spot up shooter.

He's also dumb as a box of rocks and (along with Drummond) gave Calhoun headaches all year long.

Lamb looks good on paper but I still don't know about him. There's something about him that just doesn't strike me as a successful pro.

Cool story bro. You just compared dudes with literally opposite on-court demeanors and passion for the game.

Draft express has Lamb 1 slot ahead of Henson right now, although a month ago it was reversed. Chad Ford has Henson 2 picks ahead of Lamb, while SI has Lamb 1 slot ahead of Henson. In terms of propsects and mock drafts, it would be hard to find two slotted closer together then Henson and Lamb, so I'm really not sure why there is the all caps freak out. (And Henson would look to fill more of a need).

ANd yet that wasn't the point being made - the point being made that a specific player was 'stupid'

or dumb as a box of rocks

cool story how you made the discussion about a separate point.

As the man says, stupid is as stupid does

Kevin Garnett is also a punk - always has been

I wouldn't exactly call KG stupid. Not in terms of basketball.

What are you even talking about? KG's basketball IQ is off the charts. Please just stop.

This is how this thread turns to crap. Bickering about personal opinion of these potential picks and no one knows for sure how they will do in pros
