SHHHH no one talk about Otto Porter playing elite basketball. Should have tried to get him while he was still playing like ass.

lol... clicked on this thread specifically to post about him. Can the Wizards really afford to max him out this summer after doing so for Beal this past one? Can they afford not to?

The Celtics were without Crowder and Horford, they're a mess at the moment. Like Porter though.

They can always ask for a super high price because of his numbers, but not sure the market will ever generate the super high price they'll ask because of his impact.

I still think he will make the all star game a few times, and he is one of the top athletes in the league, and I would kill to pair him with Simmons and Embiid. I'd take Josh Jackson by a country mile over him though.

He just can't be your best player if you are going to be a contender. They have KAT, who is the pure superstar, and Wiggins can be the second banana.

Is he overrated? Yes. He probably is, but I would trade Okafor, Noel, or the Lakers pick for him in a second.

It'll cost a lot more than that. probably would cost at least two of those.

...and therefore I wouldn't pay the price.

If Willie C. Stein is on the trade market does that affect Nerlens market knowing there's another you shot blocking center available for trade?

2 young, upper echelon, prospect bigs. (not sure how WCS has been performing, haven't followed him or the Kings at all) , I do know what Nerlens' can do...plus we have a ton of assets to sweeten any pot in any hypothetical trade opportunity/possibility.

I was thinking the same thing. They are similar, and WCS isn't a restricted FA next summer.

Kemba Walker is INSANE.

I remember bringing up that the Wolves should try to move Wiggins for him and some poorly-informed individual tried to argue with me that it was a nonsensical swap for Minny, smh.

Why are the Lakers 6-4? Don't they know to shoot for the 4th or 5th worst record, not the 9th or 10th, Walton better calm them dudes down.

Considering there were some of us who wanted Kris Dunn can anyone who watched him tell me how he has looked so far? He looked good in summer league.

Defensively, he's looked awesome. Just like we all knew he would.

Offensively, he's still trying to get it going. He's been marginalized due to the logjam.

I find it hard to call him marginalized when Rubio went down and he was handed the starting role. He then played poorly enough in it that Tyus was getting as many minutes, despite Tyus at one point fighting for the third string pg job.

Andrew Wiggins just dropped 47 on 14-21 FG, 2-5 3PT, 17-22 FT

I like being able to root for Wiggins now that we have Embiid, because I totally couldn't for a while.

Some guys can't just turn it on at the drop of a dime. Especially when they've been splitting practice reps and been conditioned to be in a lesser role since training camp. All while adjusting to the NBA lifestyle and playing for a demanding coach like Thibs. Kris Dunn hitting the ground running in his NBA career was a pipedream, given his circumstances.
