Re: Where is Jahlil Okafor?
There are many problems with the stats you used for one PF is among the worst positions league wide when it comes to 3PT shooting. Two, you are ignoring OREB. Three, even if they have a couple of open 3P attempts due to Okafor lapses they are not going to have an open 3PT shot every possession. I mean really to even suggest that is beyond stupid.
However, you can feed Okafor down low pretty much every possession you know if we had a CS with a little imagination and a PG capable of making the entry pass but we have neither. Hopefully, after the draft next year both situations are corrected.

Re: Where is Jahlil Okafor?
I think the real plan is to build the second unit around Jah and spot starter him when Embiid needs rest. I think he could get upper 20s mpg out of that role. In time I can see 10 minutes per game where they play together and Biid is more of a spot up shooter/pick and pop guy on O. Sounds dumb to use him that way but it helps him not fatigue as much and keeps one of our best catch and shoot guys on the floor. Gotta think that in the organization's eyes Jah, dario, and sauce will lead the second unit. I don't see sauce that highly but Brown looks at him as a manu type. That leaves Biid, Simmons, and Covington as the starters we already have on this team.

I'm perfectly fine with Okafor playing 25-30 minutes a night as a super sub off the bench. Instant offense from him.

So am I. Would like to see him play with Embiid a little to see how they mesh.
Too bad okafor isn't right and still on a minutes restriction.

If your goal is to support Okafor, best not stray from scoring when arguing in favor of him. He had the 4th worst ORPM in the NBA for centers last season and the worst DRPM. There is also little evidence that we can just feed Okafor down low "pretty much every possession" and expect to have team success.
jonjames is a signature bet welcher.

Yeah, you are wrong about Okafor last season but I don't really have the nerve to defend him after the kind of performance he demonstrated tonight.

Nope every minute he plays kills his value. I'll take any type of a lottery pick for him

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

What team is going to trade you a lottery pick for Okafor?
A deranged one hopefully. If not I'll take Knight and call it good.

Disgusting performance by Okafor against the Rockets. He played with horrible effort on both ends.

Bolded part, I agree.
Coach and being out of conditioned, semi-agree.

..surprisingly, Jah had 108 DRtg on court vs 120 DRtg off court.
If he had made half of his FGAs, I wonder how his overall performance would fair.

Ahhh. The Evan Turner defense. It's the coaches fault he's garbage.

..actually, BB has done a great job building a good rotation/unit around Jah. If you notice he's a plus defender in terms of on/off DRtg on most times/games this season and is a plus defender for the season (DBPM also should prove this).
What I don't agree with BB is not relative to how he has handle Jah but more of how BB has handle the team. Jah's struggles is not because of BB but I do think the team struggle has something to do with BB.

Re: Where is Jahlil Okafor?
I don't know whats wrong with him. I suspect he is still recovering from his injury. I mean the ATL game is a prime example Embiid out he played relatively well but still only 24 minutes which he's been steady at pretty much throughout this season.
Regardless the reason he can't play until he can get better results on the court. I mean even the ATL game where he played well on the off end and ok def he still left like 5 rebounds on the floor because he was tentative. He needs to stop trying to one hand or tip rebounds. Just go get it.
Also to be clear my disappointment with Okafor has nothing to do with Noel. Embiid is the real deal there is no minutes for him here and he needs to be moved.
