Trading that Lakers pick is going to totally bite us in the rear....watch LA end up with the #1 or #2 pick. Basically ended up trading the #3 pick and #1/2 pick for a guy with major mental issues or a messed up shoulder who is afraid to shoot.

I’m going to be so pissed if the Celtics get Docic or Porter or Bagley or Bamba or Ayton with our pick we tradesmen to them.

If it ends up number 1 then we keep it.

It’s u likely. It’s a much greater chance it’s not number one.

Pretty decent chance it's #6-9

Is it? That Lakers team is terrible...they literally have no one. Ball isn't ready, Ingram can't play, Randle is a low IQ/low efficiency player, KCP is a low efficiency player, etc. I'll be surprised if they win 25 games this season.

Lakers are in a bunch of teams positioning around 4 to 10, most likely they are 4th worst but could rise if others tank late in the season.
Bulls , Suns and Nets are def bottom 3.

I know that. I was just pointing it out to Broseph that we keep it if it is number 1. I have personally already assumed that we are going to get the Lakers pick in the 6-9 range.
The Lakers looked bad last night, but Ball is going to figure it out and I think 30+ wins is still likely.
It's amazing how people change their projections based on small sample good or bad games.

The Nets are better than the Lakers, even without Jeremy Lin. The Lakers could easily be a bottom 3 team, considering they're the only really bad team playing a rookie at Point Guard.

The Lakers could be a bottom 3 team, but considering this is the last year with the increased lottery odds at the top, it’s going to end up a tankfest IMO. That should add a few wins to the Lakers and Nets resume. And the group at the bottom (besides Chicago, who is going to be 72-73 Sixers level putrid)... Suns, Knicks, Lakers, Hawks, Mavs, Kings, and Nets... are all fairly equally terrible. So IMO the odds are somewhat in favor of the pick staying.

We're going to benefit some at the end where the Lakers and Nets are the only two teams that don't have an incentive to tank. The Lakers should be trying especially hard at the end of the year to up their win total and end on a positive if they're trying to recruit superstars in the offseason.

the plan is to get as good as quickly as possible....I fully believe we could have been a borderline playoff team last year by adding young veterans....using or draft picks and cap space.....can I specifically tell you who? no.

The Mavs are significantly better than all of those teams. The Hawks have a good coach and a veteran Point guard. They're not going to lose anywhere near what is expected. The Nets backcourt (even without Lin) is better than the Lakers, and Brook Lopez is a low-key, Okafor-esq, tank-master at Center. The Suns, Kings, Knicks Pacers and Bulls are the only teams close to being as bad as the Lakers, and I don't know that the Pacer's veteran PGs will let them lose anywhere near as much as the rest of their roster would indicate. The Lakers are a bottom 6 team without question.

Schröder is quite chuckerish and still inconsistent. Bud I think is somewhat overrated as a coach. Hawks are still going to be bad.
Dirk is on his last leg. And they only have like 6 other actual NBA level players on their roster.
And none of that takes into account some team having an injury and going into the tank (Boston when the Sixers beat them tonight?)
My point simply is by no means can you put the Lakers as a lock bottom 6 team yet. Especially if Lonzo ends up as good as you hyped him.

I don't hype any pospect. I give an honest opinion of who I think has the most potential. If me saying Lonzo Ball is a better prospect than Fultz offends you, I don't know what to say.

Hopefully its 1 or if conveyed its at 6. If it ends up 2 ugh that Fultz trade does not look good.

I'm glad you appreciate the shout out. Not sure why you can't copy and paste quotes in your signature though. I didn't turn anything on or off.

It will all work out, guys!
Even if Boston does get the pick, they'll probably use it on Doncic and they'll jusy have a wing version of Saric and still be no threat.
