Boy it'd be crazy to find out Utah is a fraudulent 1 seed by losing to the Grizzlies. Who could have ever predicted that?

Why? How do they fit?
What actions will they run together?
JJ Redick had the 2 best seasons of his career playing with Embiid and he isn't half the ball handlers, scorer, playmaker that Curry is. What actions do you think will be prohibitive between one of the most versatile scorers in the league and one of the greatest shooters of all time? I just don't get your stance aside from "Embiid not a great passer out of the post" which is such small potatoes when discussing their possible synergy.
So you can't name any other than "they are both good". You know a lot about NBA offense.
Steph Curry and Embiid would be utterly devastating. And I am an Aussie Simmons fan.

Well you'd know because you're a Warriors fan, and probably just an NBA fan in general, that has seen it done first hand (Steph and Durant), so it's not a complete foreign concept to you. Steph's skill set works on literally every team in the NBA; not sure why anyone would take exception to that statement.

Geez, Heat look worse on offense than we do in this game.

Re: The Playoffs Thread
This game makes more sense than game 1.
Despite being a conference rival and Giannis being annoying sometimes, I find it easy to root for Milwaukee. Small market team with a well-balanced roster and improvements each year. The GM/owner committed tons of money and assets in an attempt to keep Giannis, and it worked (at least well enough for him to sign the supermax).
TLDR; **** Brooklyn, go Milwaukee if it's not us in the Finals.

2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:
Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Barlow/Watford/Walker
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome

Naw **** the Bucks too. Never forget "Guys in Philly wanna talk about the process, we rather focus on the results" I'm sure that's not the direct quote, but it was something like that. Also, have you ever read the Bucks board regarding us? They hate Philly. So F those cheese eating fans

Re: The Playoffs Thread
Bucks is too good. They’re like 1-2 years more advanced than us and it’s OK we’ll get there and go higher. Just more stressors needed.
I also think it was a good decision letting Jimmy go.
If you care about Embiid’s ego by overhauling the roster, then you also have to factor Jimmy and Ben’s ego if we retained him. I dont think Ben or Jimmy could last more than a season. Rumor has it that Jimmy even has chemistry issues with the current heat roster.
Jimmy is also not that good of a fit with Embiid, the only reason why he was good with us is because we have no one close to being as good as Jimmy. But then, this could be solved by trading Ben and surrounding the Jimmy and Biid with shooters.
P.S. I like jimmy when he was here and as a player being a non-sixer.

Suns are getting a lot out of their scrubs. Cam Payne playing a ton of minutes, Saric played a long stretch at center with Davis and Drummond in. Lakers are playing soft right now. Wonder if we're going to see a LeBron iconic final 2 minutes tonight.
Both LA teams blowing it. You just hate to see it.

Looks like the Clips are pretty much done having to travel to Dallas down 0-2. Can't blame this one on Doc.

Re: The Playoffs Thread
Do you guys think Ben can defend Giannis on single coverage?
Because I believe he can and will do that, and this will really prove his worth for the team and the league for his push for Dpoy.
If we can take Giannis out of the game with Ben’s defense, that would be a big leg up IMO.
Another thing is I find the roster is preparing for a face-off with the Bucks. This is why we added Tolliver and Gary Clark. You dont see both guys in the Wiz game. Im not saying both guys will lock him down but both guys are the archetype that is best to defend Giannis (Thad Young model).

Man, the Clippers strategy really bit them in the ass, didn’t it?
That team has some serious issues. They need a strong personality in there with Kawhi and Paul, one those guys will at least pay attention to. No idea who that could be. You probably really need to break them up.
