Either he has very shallow experience or knowledge or he does not do his homework. Like every game i hear the same things about him.
Recently, ive notice that both alaa and kate know they’re getting “backlashed” from the viewers (just look at social media like twitter or facebook if u dont think there are) because they have been making less college sports reference and there was a time when Kate was about to make a college sports joke and she said something jokingly like the stat guy told her to hold it
Two things:
1. Alaa is what he is, a nice guy who is a product of a generation of the NBA game that is the stone ages with relation to the game today. His mind still thinks of the sport in the '80's and '90's, so his analysis will reflect that. Same thing goes for Jimmy Lynam and Marc Jackson. Sixers need someone who knows
today's game somewhere on the broadcast.

If only the college references were the main problem with these broadcasts. I'd be just fine with some college references by a PBP announcer who didn't shriek and root, root, root for the home team like a middle schooler and without the constant joking.
