He would be the one to go since he has not looked like an NBA player and if Petrusev isn’t on the regular roster he can make a lot more in Europe. Brown instead of Tubelis makes the most sense, possibly with Louis King filing one of the regular open roster spots.

I don't know about Louis King...he's ALWAYS supposed to be more than he ends up being - dude has the measurable and the skills but never the results

He's a little passive and all the guards have tunnel vision so hes not getting alot of touches. His best position is probably the 3, they have him at the 4 where it looks like he is thin and a average athlete, just physically outmatched which is a concern.

Who 2way spot are you giving up?

Either Terq or Council. Terq is dynamic, but an awful basketball player. Council hasn't played well and his path to the NBA might be pretty far away.

I think I would do a way with Council. Atleast Terq is unconscious from 3 and his ceiling is a off the bench bucket getter or floor spreader with some growth.

Between the two, I'd probably choose Council because he's strong, long, and athletic. There's good raw material there to work with, from a developmental perspective.

Whereas Smith is basically just an inefficient munchkin chucker. Those are a dime a dozen and there's always an endless influx of those guys coming in and out of the league.

King does tend towards being passive at times scoring wise. He is more of a point forward/point big guard, but not a point guard. He might fit well when Maxey is running the team due to his passing skills, a good fit with a scoring point.

Council is the best player with the most upside in my opinion.

Prince is doing well for the Knicks, we should have just hold unto him

Between last year in the Gleague and this year during SL, he's really demonstrating some high quality play.

If I was a GM, I'd love to say I'd just give him 15 mpg in November and see if he can perform. If not, release him. If he balls out, you have a great find on your hands for cheap.

Podziemski and Trayce, both guys i like heading to the draft, are such great fits for the Warriors system. If they drafted like this, they could had lamelo instead of wiseman.

Podziemski was one of the few guards in this class that I thought looked ready for the NBA, but I don't like how he's looked in the SL. Hasn't really put anything together and seems to be playing poorly.

Not a high IQ.

He takes a lot of bad jumpers when he is a terrible shooter.

My guess is everyone who gets playing time has the green light since SL doesn’t mean anything

he's gonna have to shoot to make the league, I'd rather have the guys actually under contract taking shots than G-league lifers

I’d have Terq Smith than Council. Terq’s archetype is just more valuable in today’s game. He’s not that good of a shooter but he’s the type of shooter who can be better, not Springer.

On the other hand, I see Council more like a Josh Okogie or Dilon Brooks type player. A defensive wing who can’t shoot, which isnt a winning type of player in this “offense wins championship” era.

Both aren’t special, thats why they’re undrafted. But If I have to take my chances, I’d take Terq smith. With Smith, all he needs to be is to be a better shooter next year or the year after.

Kobble has said that he is a dime in a dozen, which I agree with. And if im managing a team, I’d accumulate guys like him and you’ll have a high success rate that you’ll be able to find the next tyrese maxey or tyler herro.

And once Terq Smith can improve into a better shooter, you can always trade him for a Ricky Council type player. And with picks attached to it.

SL was supposed to be very physical and the defense is tight. I dont find it that way anymore in this year’s SL.

My rule of thumb for summer league is to only celebrate the successes and ignore all bad performances. There is a long list of players who performed poorly that ended up pretty good.

For me, Brown III should be one of the two-way contracts. After that, it would be either Smith, Council, Smart or Steward, depending on what they are really looking for (assuming Springer makes the roster).
