I would like Wes Johnson or some other young asset in any Iggy trade.

If the Clips were interested, and well Sterling is an idiot, A combination of Aminu and Kaman for Iggy plus anything not named Holiday, Turner or Young would be great by me. It is time to start admitting that even if we could semi-contend now, there are simply too many teams that we will never jump over even if we added Melo. Aminu is an interesting prospect at SF, is only 20 and has played better at the 3 according to what I have read than many expected. Kaman is not great, but he lets you find and develop a center for a couple of years until his deal expires.

No deal with Dallas, fringe players and pseudo salary cap relief do nothing for this team while Brand's contract is hanging around.

Love wants to win, if MIN is still a mess when he's up to extend, he could go elsewhere... someone should tell Kahn my iggy trade. *sigh*

Thought the same thing.

Isn't Caron Butler expiring? Could Dallas give up on him since he's out for the season to acquire Andre?

I'm sure they would, but why would we? We need expirings + actual young talent for Iguodala.

At least there is some sanity on this board.

Would love to see Love come to town, but don't see it happening.

Had some thoughts that he Wiz may have talent worth pursuing, but watching them tonight made me realize their young bigs have a long way to go.

Chicago - Deng/Gibson ??

Dallas - Butler/Beaubois??

NY - Gallo/Curry/Randolph??

GS - Biedrens/Wright??

OKC - Mullens/Mo Pete/Cook/Green??

Sac - Dalembert/Whiteside?? (he he)

I don't really want Rip, but would a deal of Rip/Monroe/Daye for Iguodala/Songalia/Speights make any sense?? I really liked Monroe's versality coming out of college, and he has produced when he plays decent minutes...never will be a dominant big man, but shold be a very productive player.

Off-topic, but by any chances did you used to post on NBAwire? A Sixers fan I remember had a username similar to yours?

Bucks fan here. I think we shot ourselves in the foot signing gooden so since we're screwed financially why not go all in.

basically redd's expiring/maggette/Larry Sanders/1st rnd

for

Iggy/brand.

I know you guys don't want maggette but I think the fact that your able to shed brand you guys might be willing to take the hit. Also Larry Sanders has some actual potential. and a 1st pick is to sweeten the pot.

No thanks. Like you said, not eating Corey's deal, and your first wouldn't be worth much after this deal.

Are there any rumors other than Iguodala to Dallas?? Seems that everything else is just our thoughts on what may work, but nothing that is being reported anywhere else. A few weeks until the trade deadline, and I guess a lot of moves will be contingent upon the statyus of Carmello.

This Melo situation doesn't make much sense to me. It seems like the two need a third team to get it done. But from what I have read all they are trying to do is screw the third team in the deal. Why would anyone help you out and give away pick or take on bad contracts so you can get Melo. Sounds like a bad fantasy thread post on the board.

As for Dallas... What in the world do they have to offer for Iggy? I see nothing on the roster that that they would actually trade worth value to us.

They could take Iggy and Nocioni's contract and give us $ and a future pick. That might be the best we can do. If we can do a 3 way trade and somehow move both Brand and Iggy and get expiring contracts in return, would be all for it. If we can get someone to take Nocioni for an expiring contract, even if we had to toss in Speights, would be al for it.

Well... We are trying to make the playoffs so I don't see them getting rid of Brand or Nocioni along with Iguodala. I realize money is the most important thing in the world but I think we keep Brand and Nocioni.
As for Dallas unless we are taking back Caron Butler for Iguodala I am not sure how we deal with them??? I would certainly ask for a first from them because they really just don't have anything of value for us. Marion maybe??? I'm not sure so I don't know how Iguodala could even be on their radar.

Iguodala is most certainly on their radar and since they are in win-now mode and have an owner who spends, they would likely have no problem taking Iguodala and Nocioni's contracts and giving us Butler and Stevenson's expiring contracts, along with other small pieces to make the deal work under the cap and toss in a future first rounder.
