I think if we can get a defensive PF and a scorer in an Iggy deal, we'll be set. Maybe GS trades us Biendrins, Ellis, and Udoh for Iggy, Speights, Nocioni??

Who did they pass up that was better?? Great pick, given where they were selecting.

I actually like the Vucevic pick a LOT. He's a Center, which was a big need. He plays in the paint a lot, which fits well with Brand playing outside more. He rebounds well. He can body up on D, won't block shots or be a lock down guy, but a big body nonetheless.

He has good touch from the outside and could turn into a reliable 15ppg and 10rpg guy. That's really not terrible for a 16th pick in a weak draft.

Plus, he seems more mature than Hawes was, and already seems to be a better player in the post than Hawes. Has a good BBIQ from what I've read compared to Dalembert and Hawes. So IMO an immediate upgrade over what we had. And from an offensive standpoint he provides a variety we haven't seen at the Center position....since..well..I don't even remember.

Unless there's a trade in the works, but who would want this Shumpert guy? We needed the BPA and we took the possible WPA.

Good pick - This is a draft of rotation players and its not like its a lottery pick where you would want a more solid pick - might as well go with a big man with some skills who has room to grow both physically and playing wise - you cant teach height/size so go big!

At the very least, you now have an upgrade in the first big man off the bench and more flexibility...if he comes in and blows everyone away, you now have a new starting center.

if he can play strong he will be an upgrade and start right away... you dont have to block shots if you can atleast play good post D and rebound.. he should be able to do that.. he can also score in the paint

i just want an iguodala trade and ill be happy
