When it comes to Exum how can anyone say he should be picked in the top 3 what are you basing this on? His college performance, the fact that BB spent time in Australia? Just what facts warrant Exum to be picked so high? What top level talent has he played against and dominated? Even if he is good. He is coming in at a major disadvantage having not competed against top guys in college or even in the D-league. Even Brant was not a top 10 pick.

If this team is sitting at 12 with all they have to offer 2nd picks, taking on salary, swapping 1st picks and Thad they could move down a slot or two to at least 10...9 maybe. why not?
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way. (Marlo)

Who are you thinking of getting at 9 or 10? Maybe if Smart or Vonleh plummet down the board it could happen, but I wouldn't trade away Thad and our 2nds to move up from Rodney Hood to Jerami Grant. Keep Thad; he's a proven NBA player
I speak the truth.

Something that I think now one is talking about but what are we doing with 5 second round picks?

Sixers should stick to the plan going forward and draft long, athletic, scrappy , defensive minded players. No slow, undersized unathletic players on this team.

MCW and Noel are the building blocks . Pieces to keep as reserves Wroten , Thad , Sims, Varnado , James Anderson , Thompson.

If we get a top 5 pick . Embiid and Wiggins are no brains with Exum as Plan B.

Pelicans Rodney hood or Lavine as a 2 guard . Kyle Anderson could be developed into a effective 3 with conditioning. He has elite skill and size at the 3. I actually think he is the 3rd best prospect at smallforward .

2nd round Thananis Anteloupus definitely
Glenn Robinson III or James Young.

exum has maybe the most potential of anyone. should the lebron, kobes, garnett & mcgradys not have been picked bc they only played vs high school competition?

Me too but he will probably go to a team like Houston at 25.

Yeah most likely. There's going to be a decent selection of prospects at 32 though, if the sixers stay there.

There is likely 0 chance we use all of them. There just isn't enough roster spots to add 7 rookies in 1 year.
I see us using no more than 2 of them.

Most likely, we will use a package of them to move into the late 1st or early 2nd to snag a guy Hinkie's high on.Also the possibility of combining some with a player and one of our 1sts to move up, but i don't really see that as likely as the first scenario...Worst case,he will almost certainly ship out a few for future picks just to keep the stockpile rolling into another year.

There pretty much there for flexibility....having 5 at our disposal will likely allow us to get anyone we covet in the very late 1st/early 2nd. Most teams with high payrolls and late 1sts don't mind dropping a few spots to save themselves a guaranteed contract.

I am not even getting hyped over any "sleepers" in the second round because even if we do find them...Hinkie will just trade them for no reason. I really hated how he handled last years second round...especially since Wolters seems like a nice find and Pierre Jackson is also highly saught after IIRC. Not game breakers but it all seemed pointless trades to just make trades IMO.

we will take one guy and then send him overseas to never be seen again.

Jackson was part of the Noel trade IIRC.

Wolters has been pretty good for a backup point guard. Especially early in the year. He got hurt IIRC and hasn;t recovered fully but he has been solid (and not even just for this draft class)

It totally is....if his name was George Smith, no one would even know who the hell he was.
