Re: The Playoffs Thread
I don't think Leonard is the same guy that dominated on the Spurs and the Raptors. It looks like he's aged athletically in dog years. He's still a great player who can turn back the clock in short spurts but it seems like whatever the quad thing was robbed him of that last bit of performance that made him a HOF level player.

Hope Luka keeps it up these playoffs, then maybe some of the other Top WC teams might overpay for Ben since he seems to be the magic Luka stopper.
Also cheering for Tobi these playoffs - dude must almost be worth his contract soon.

While I love that Jo seems to be a fan of late-90s wrestling, I'm a little confused about the timeline. Was he watching Wrestlemania 14 as a 3 year old in Cameroon?

Maybe he saw clips of them on YouTube while he was learning how to shoot.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) actually re-united as a tag team twice (once in 2006 when Embiid was 12 and again from 2009-10 when he was 17-18) so I'm thinking that's how he watched them. It is possible that he watched old clips of them from the late 1990s though.

Re: The Playoffs Thread
Luka
Jokic
Giannis
All have top 20 all time potential and rising (Luka has inner sanctum top ten range Bird/Olajuwon occupy my 9/10 spot).
Jokic/Giannis has Garnett/Dirk range for me.
This decade is going to be wild when the changeover of the guard inevitably happens (Early decade onwards).
Man by the end of this next decade the top 20 all time is going to be ultra stacked kind of like the Baseball/Cricket/Soccer top 20 all time just mega studs all of them.

Lol, oh God, I didn't even consider that.
Hopefully Jo has better taste than that.

I think he lost part of his athleticism, no doubt. He still is long as hell, ultra strong and has big ass hands. I really believe he can be a lockdown defender if he wants.
But if you look video of some of the Mavs series a lot of the problem is on the defensive philosophy. The Clipps are giving the mavs any switch they want, without resistance. Their doubling has been ass, teammates don't rotate like they should, help defense is wack, etc.
I think most of the Clippers issues, aside from Luka being a missmtach for the clippers guards, it's just a coach and staff not worried about defense

I hope the Nets can beat the Bucks. But Nets is a team that Giannis can be a factor on offense down the stretch, with just how weak they are defensively, so im not counting on it.
Why?
We match so much better against the Bucks than the Nets....

I disagree. I've been high on the Sixers and Bucks beating the Nets.... Pending personnel changes all year. They never fixed that interior defense issue.
My thought process with Brooklyn is that they are amazing offensively even with 2 of the Big 3, and missing one of them adds more minutes for defensive players like Brown and Green.... With all three, even if they can play defense most situations where offensive first players have to defend a star level player ever possession is a win for the offense. Their closing lineup has been Durant, harden, Irving, Green, Harris... Now Green has foot problems that aren't going away.
I think even more than Milwaukee, Philly has more defenders to slow them down.... Milwaukee may have a better suited offense to keep up. Brooklyn isn't built to limit Giannis to an off ball player like even Miami is.
Milwaukee has a defense that can exploit the likely issue of a lack of perimeter scoring from Philly.
