By acquiring likely OKC’s 2026 1st round pick, it allows us to be able to trade our 2026 Sixers 1st round pick which could be our 2nd most valuable asset after the 2028 LAC 1st round pick.
That 2027 pick swap is also useless to us because we dont have a first round pick in 2027.

I'm not sure if they can trade a 2026 pick because it's tied to the OKC 2025 pick if it doesn't convey. Not sure though.
Also the 2026 pick from OKC are likely to be in the 20s range and probably will be OKCs pick. However, the LAC pick that was sent to OKC is protected top 4 from that original trade. But seeing as this trade is only from the least favorable... Doesn't matter

The best part is that they don't have control over a single FRP for the next half dozen years between traded picks and pick swaps, so they have to re-sign Harden, George and Kawhi, who are all getting butt old and have significant injury histories to big contracts next summer or they will have no players beyond the incredible phenom Terrence Mann, lol. Even in S&T's for those guys the return would be pretty minimal given their ages and routine unavailability.
