Amare is OFFICIALLY on the market for the first time ever. I'm only entertaining deals that have me getting an all star or superstar back in return.

Trend Settaz wrote:@Kaponen, how would you feel about a Melo/Amare swap? I'm not saying that I would go through with it, but it would definitely help out both teams equally, and I would very much consider it.

If I were able to make this trade, I'd have to say that doesn't interest me a ton. My targets would be Kevin Love, Blake Griffin, or anyone taken above Melo. I'll have Gortat and Jordan, with Krstic on the bench, so unless I am seriously upgrading my 4 or 5 spot, I'd have to pass.

Although he is an all-star, I want more the scoring all-star. G Wallace is an excellent player, but not someone I'm willing to break up Griffin and Gasol for

What would you then want for Melo? Just straight up Griffin?

I would likely need to find a companion trade to move Gortat, in that scenario. But depending upon how my roster looked after that, maybe straight up or maybe swap two other bench players as well in a way that helps both our squads.

Would Butler for Gortat work?

I'd be interested in getting in on the trade talks. I'm just looking to upgrade my team. Not looking to acquire older players for my young guys though. I built my team with the future in mind. I would definitely be interested in getting another C type guy with some experience.

PK - I have serious interest in Griffin. I could move Bosh as part of a deal to you or to a 3rd team.

The closer and closer I get to trading...the more and more I want to keep my team, win the whole damn thing, and cry.

Forget the last part.

Eh... I thought you reached a bit for Butler and I'm not a big fan.

Is there any way I could turn Gortat into McGee? What else would you need?
