Clippers,

Toney Douglas + Kobe Bryant for Eric Gordon + Jameer Nelson

Why: I don't think you can be a serious contender with Maynor or Douglas at the PG position. The trade gives you a more balanced backcourtmand EG is just averaging 3 ppg less than Kobe.

Raptors,

Kevin Love for Dirk

Why: love is, if I'm not mistaken, the top two in PER. you get a PF who would compliment your weak frontcourt with his 15rpg. For my team, I built a fairly similar team like this year's Mavs.

I think my teams fine as long as I have a servicable PG, so no thanks
I am open to offers though, but kobe probably would be nearly impossible

Oogreco, another thing is that this whole thing has a point system with the future of the team. With Yao's health already in question I think that a younger EG who is averaging a tad less in PPG is a good trade, point system wise.

With all due respect, Maynor or Douglas ain't a serviceable PG. Unless you are the knicks or playing a lotto team. Who's going to facilitate for your team's offense? Kobe? Deng is more of a scorer and slasher.

I have a few solid bench players that I'm willing to dish out for a solid backup center in return.

Congrats to everyone that posted at least once in this historical thread. It is now the 3rd longest thread in RealGM History.

I went to every forum on this site & clicked "Sort by Replies," and the only threads that had more posts were a couple of threads on the Bucks forum (4.2k & 4.6k).

You willing to trade Dirk? I honestly don't think your current team can compete and would like to offer you a youth and depth movement if interested.

Millsap+Prince+Shannon Brown+J Rich for Dirk+Watson+Nocioni(Nocioni doesn't have to be included if you don't want)

I'd be willing to sub in Andersen for one of these players also.

Dirk gives me an instant contender while Millsap is an up and coming player who has been steadily improving while being in a positional logjam for most of his career. Shannon Brown is a great athlete(highest current vert in the NBA I believe) who can be an instant offense option that can get hot from 3 and has shown very good potential but is stuck backing up Kobe instead of playing PG/SG for long minutes.

J Rich can be a good starter for you until Derozan shows he can be a full blown starter, or he can also be a backup to Derozan depending on how you want to build your team for the future and Prince provides you with a good upgrade at starter with defense and a solid 15 ppg player who can put up 18-22 every other night and can make Salmons a very good 6th man type SG/SF scorer instead of forcing him to start.

PK, just reposting in case you didn't see this. If there's nothing that'll work, let me know, OK?
