Does Holiday have ANY CLUE on how to play with fouls? What an idiot.

I disagree, but that wasn't the point I was arguing. Using the start of the third quarter run by the blazers is the part of the statement I was arguing.

Another lay up drill, while we are settling for contested jump shots.

BTW, Iggy is -6 and Roy is +14. I'm not saying he is a bad defender, in fact I think he is good, but not elite by any standard. I think he could be but he doesn't seem to play his hardest on every play.

Maybe Roy's hurt knee is keeping him from shooting more. I don't recall any plays tonight when Iggy locked him down, forcing a bad shot or a turnover.

Just saying overrated, not bad...

we just had 2 fastbreaks in a row....
Think whatever you want...if you wanna sit here and worry about Iguodala's defense...Go head. Im a little more concerned with our interior defense and our young fellas developing. And Ill say it one more time... I highly disagree with you about his D being overrated. And as far as ur statement about shooting one on one against Iguodala in the all star game...If youre playing 1 on 1...what the hell else are you going to do besides shoot?? pass? This isnt NBA BALLAS , you arent making crowd passes.

Love how we have four guys sitting on the perimeter while Speights goes one-on-one with his back to the basket about 15 feet out. Now if that was Kobe Bryant in Speights' position, good gameplan, but with Speights, that's just awful.

the blazers suck without andre miller. they look like they dont even know what an offensive play looks like.

weird game...we had 15 assists on 18 first half field goals, and only 3 assists so far this half...

Iguodala appears to be having a down game but Brandon Roy has not been a factor in this game. Related or just coincidence?

Maybe we can go out , force an overtime , and then blow a big lead? We better hold onto this lead and not pull a washington game. It will be a good W

Finest,

The point of mentioning Simmons comments was to say that Simmons regarded him as one of the best defenders in the league at the time. He has certainly not ascended into Simmon's opinion of him. Or many others.

Let me ask you this. If Iggy is such a great defender, why hasn't he EVER BEEN ON THE NBA ALL DEFENSIVE TEAM? EVER? NEVER. NOT ONCE. NADA. THE NULL SET. ZERO. ZIP. NIL. AS MANY AS YOU AND I.

For crying out loud, Thabo Freaking Sefolosho was on it last year.

So, good- yes. Lockdown, all defensive team- no. Overrated- yes.
