I'm completely prepared for that pick to be whatever it ends up being, even if it is number 15 next year.

It was worth it.

That being said, Cousins going to the Lakers doesn't scare me. I don't think that they will make the playoffs next year no matter what they do.

Cousins going to the Lakers scares me as it gives Sac time to build for 2019, instead of standing there like Cleveland when Lebron left.

Ok, good point on the Sac pick, but that is 3 years off so I care less about that one.

I can't imagine Cousins is going anywhere. Joerger made the Grizz a playoff team with limited talent. He got the most out of Gasol and Randolph during his time there. He will want a big man in the same mold.

BUT, if they did trade Cousins, the 2019 pick will be top 3. Sac is not a FA location. If they blew next year, they would swap with us. They are basically screwed. Sac needs to win now.

Well, according to Bodner the Kings unprotected 2019 pick is already officially coming to the Sixers. Thank you Sam Hinkie...thank you. Cousins contract expires after 17-18 season correct? I smell a legit possibility for another top 3 pick.

Interesting thread on a Kings forum I read. A lot didn't know this was a possibility depending on how things played out this year.

I'm so hyped for this draft class, hope these studs return healthy from their knee injuries. Might be 7/8 players in at least the same tier as Simmons and Ingram. I would go all in and offer Okafor + Covington for the Nets '17 pick, if Celtics refuse Okafor alone.

The Sixers should be leaving the draft with two of the top eight. That's means two of Harry Giles, Josh Jackson, Jayson Tatum, Markelle Fultz, Lonzo Ball, Frank Ntilikina, De'Aaron Fox, and Jonathan Isaac will be 76ers. Ridiculous, really.

And that isn't including Dennis Smith Jr. (who everyone forgets because we went to school early), Isaiah Hartenstein, Frank Jackson, Ivan Rabb and potentially ideal 76ers Malik Monk and Terrence Ferguson.

Then there's a whole other tier of big guys like Marques Bolden, Bam Adebayo, Thomas Bryant, Jarrett Allen, Bennie Boatwright, Omer Yurtseven, Jonathan Jeanne, Tyler Lydon and Lauri Markkanen. Upside guys in Miles Bridges, OG Anunoby, Svi Mykhailiuk and Rodions Kurucs.

I'm in, whatever it takes to get that Nets pick. If Okafor has to go, that's the pick I want.

You absolutely do not trade that Lakers pick. Adding two guys from that 1st list of 14 (and whoever else emerges next year) will be an absolute coup.

Initially liking Tatum for us in this draft. Josh Jackson will need to overhaul his shot. Of the PGs I like Fox and Fultz.

Both of our firsts next year will be traded for a vet at some point. With Saric, Embiid, Simmons, Murray? on the roster, I don't see BC wanting to have 2 more high profile rookies.

While I understand your thinking, Saric still hasn't confirmed he's coming over and Embiid still has yet to play a second of NBA basketball.

ALOT can change/happen over the next few months.

I think your stance on that will soften as the next college basketball season progresses. There is some serious talent coming in.

I just read that entire thread. I did not see one user mention the fact that the pick swaps were just more ping pong balls for Hinkie to land the 1st overall. I highly doubt Hinkie thought he would get a swap when he was making the deal.

Poor guys. :(

I honestly feel bad for them. There are obviously a lot of conscientious and hopeful fans over there that just want to win, as we all do. Their organization is a mess, and is flailing around not having a clue. They are basically what we were between 2005-2013, but they actually have a young superstar to give them hope. We had nothing, but continued to fart around with short term moves anyway.

They either need a miracle, or they need to bottom out and have a real plan. Hinkie could clean that place up pretty quickly, and boy would it be ironic if he was the GM in Sacramento in 2019.

I read that Kings forum and it dawned on me that Sam Hinkie is not a Gm currently and Vlade Divac is. What a time to be alive.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably
