Very doubtful we see him this year or next, which is good since he needs the development time. Korkmaz needed to get drafted much higher to afford his buyout in Europe.

Most likely euro league due to buyout. Colangelo said they will investigate it though.

I hate his game, but he'll do. And will take the pressure off trading one of our bigs. My preference still would be Mario Chalmers who played sidekick at point on four LeBron finals teams. If he can play 'point' for Lebron, he should be able to play the same support role for Ben Simmons. I'd go three guaranteed for $45 for Chalmers. Just my opinion. Anyway, congrats to BC. This signing means he doesn't have to do anything crazy.

Really like Mario Chalmers as a possible "buy low" guy. He was great last year for the Grizzlies. His unfortunate achilles tear probably cost him a ton of money this offseason. Would like to give him a shot to see if he can get healthy and return to form.

If what I read was correct and Evan Turner just got 4 years and $75 million, the Bayless signing might be the greatest of all time! Unbelievable that salaries are reaching a level that this is considered a bargain. At least Bryan appears to be keeping some of his sanity. I can only imagine what Portland fans are thinking. Perhaps Crabbe is on the move.

The early reports I read are that he could be back by training camp. But assume he could be back by December - and the prognosis is that he could play at his previous level - I'd like to see him in Philly. Arguably Hinkie's biggest blunder, not to bring him in a year ago. Then again, we'd wouldn't have landed Simmons.

A solid vet at a position of need, whose skill set compliments the rest of the team, and who comes with a reasonable contract. Very good move.

Nice pickup. Solid pro who addresses and area of need. His outside shot will make things easier on Simmons and our bigs, but he's an inferior playmaker to ish. I'd still like to see us acquire a legit starting PG.

He's pretty good fit for what we need. Namely, a PG who can defend his position and has a 3PT shot.

9 million is pretty expensive for what he does though. I dunno I think I'm going to need awhile adjust to this new NBA

This is the perfect signing for us now that the tank is done. I wouldn't be for this last year.

He is a good shooter, and ball handler, and comparatively cheap.

He will actually help us win games and make things easier on our core.

The T&T board is still waiting for Bryan to go... full Bryan on some RFA's next week. They should be able to grab Crabbe, if they want to do that, at market rate instead of overpaying because they won't have to worry about POR matching

If Bryan keeps it in check the whole FA period and makes another solid signing or two I am going to start believing the joke about the Hinkie shadow regime.

I like this deal a lot. Bayless fits very well with Simmons (and Okafor). And his contract is not bad at all to transition him to back up after this season.

Think of it as 5-6 million. That's the 2010-15 equivalent.

I'm good with this. At first I really wished it was only 2 years with a team option but it's fine. He might be a little overpaid for a backup PG this year (which is fine since he'll start) but this will definitely be at least the going rate next year. He fits what we need.

Now if we could just get Dion to sign with the Kings, Colangelo might be in the clear from a really stupid move... at least until he trades Noel for pennies.
