I could envision both Carter and Ayton eventually being able to hit threes, but I think it will clearly be at a below league-average rate.
I think Jaren Jackson is the only one of these freshman bigs with true spacer qualities able to play next to Embiid, offensively.

Me too. This is quickly becoming my preferred outcome. I think there are minutes available for him right away.
If we draft Carter you might as well put Okafor on the back of his jersey because that is exactly who Brett will treat him like.
If Carter can't shoot the 3 he won't play in Brett's scheme. He doesn't value guys with low post games. He wants to space and pace and Carter doesn't really give you any of that. If Ersan comes back you can really forget about it. Carter would just be another wasted lottery pick.
He looks absolutely nothing like Okafor to me, but I'm no scout.
