Except there are no back-to-backs in the playoffs. If we lose tonight, we're likely to lose again tomorrow if Embiid is fatigued.
Accumulated fatigue has caused Joel to play poorly in round 2 before. If he can’t play well when he’s tired, then we’re never gonna win a title.
That may be a good point. I think learning how to play smarter when he's fatigued can go a long way. Teams know when he's tired and that's where he seems to make the most mistakes.
Another reason we could use another ballhandler/decision maker. Allow Embiid to focus on defense and finishing when he's obviously tired because if not he's gonna cough the ball up.
