I think Reed is trying not to get in foul trouble while Oubre has lapses.

I think they are in the same boat defensively where they will make a good defensive play than turn around and be awful the next play. The only thing I can think of is their bulbs not being the brightest.

Just curious, when Nic is back, would you bench Melton and start Oubre and Nic?

That's a good question. If I was NN I probably would go back and forth between them depending on the match-up.

Like if we were playing OKC , Pacers , Pelicans . I would go with Oubre because of the bigger lineups.

Cavs, Hawks , Grizzlies , I'd go with Melton because of the guard play

Yeah I've been arguing with myself about that one for a while. We seem to be intrenched with Melton being a starter, but with him coming off the bench we would all of a sudden have size in the starting lineup.

Oubre has been slow on his come back, but I'd probably at least try it.

If Maxey can win this game for us tonight, it's going to go a long way towards his stardom in this league. It's going to have to be him tonight that does it. Nobody else is on tonight.

Would love to see us get Wiggins here ...

Maxey
Oubre
Wiggins
Tobias
Embiid

Line up would be interesting...

If Ben didn't leave and stayed healthy, he and Maxey would have easily been the most lethal fast break duo in the league.

If he doesn't, we're never gonna stop hearing about how he lacks dog mentality to close out games.
