That was a terrible break Maxey gave it Oubre too early. Thats four points we have lost because Maxey cant spoon feed Oubre first the alley oop and then that break. Between the ridiculous Knick 3 pt shooting, the 8-9 points the Knicks have off of rebounds the Sixers faught over and lost and two rotten Ouber/Maxey Breaks we honestly should probably be down more.

Oubre was tripped

but he hurt the refs fee fees so not getting this challenge at all

It looked like it but it was still a weird break all Maxey has to do is take it all the way to the rim and Oubre has a dunk or Maxey has a layup when the one defender.back drops off to guard the passing lane. Zero reason to give it Oubre 10 feet from the basket.

I agree to an extent but you got to admit we helped them a little bit. They arent going to shoot like this all game. If we grabbed 3 uncontested offensive rebouds we frittered away that they literally scored 8-9 points off of and messed up two 2 on 1 fast breaks with two of our fastest and most athletic players the lead would be like 8 instead of 18. They have played harder then us and with more energy. Its not the end of the world or anything we all know this team isnt going anywhere without some trades and there is a ton of season left. I just hope Embiid doesnt miss another 10 days. I think he is injured he couldnt dunk the one time on a wide open lane.

Embiid grimacing, that ankle bothering him. He'll be out tomorrow, and there goes the MVP conversations. I've invested too much in that ish this year. This team just needs to focus on the post season. Forget all the narratives. He's had a hot start, but he needs to be in peak physical condition to do that. He needs to rest that up, get some new shoes, and then silence the haters in the post season. Go and get Mikal/Lauri and try and nab Caruso. Give them everything, and just get it done.
