I wonder what the locker room dynamic is between Embiid and PG and if they are friends. I also wonder if ownership is watching this Jimmy Butler situation and think they could get involved to make Joel happy. PG for Jimmy and Keshad Johnson match. Miami could want to just be done with Jimmy's nonsense. /end fantasy thread tangent

Jimmy and his expiring for PG would be amazing

Trading for Jimmy requires a huge new contract or he’ll go ballistic.

Martin and Embiid are the only ones playing defense tonight

Here's where Embiid has his face cratered in by Green while his mask is off.

Team is just mid. Good enough to beat chaff and might be a good team every often but otherwise just pure mid

Honestly, who cares, give it to him. We're all playing for third place for the foreseeable future with the Celtics and Thunder dominating with no end in sight. We'd actually have someone who is capable of creating offense and showing up in crunch time.

Just goes to show you how important KJ and Oubre are simply from the athleticism and effort they provide to the team. And before anyone says, well Sixers did knock off the Celtics, it took Caleb Martin shooting out of his mind to pull off that win. I still haven't seen a quality win against a team expected to be in contention.

He’ll be washed as soon as we get him. He’s 35 years old. It’s too late. The blew it with Jimmy in 2019.

I'm starting to wonder if Nurse is a bigger fraud than the GM. It's close.

The lineups make no sense. It's like he's pulling them out of a hat. only 11 minutes for Yabu?

Joel is 50 pounds heavier than anyone on the team Golden State is 6 inches taller. He should have 20 points in the paint already and 10 or 11 rebounds. The guy is a loser.

Let's be honest, NN has always predicated his lineups on athletic guys to run his doubles from all angles and speed to cover and recover. Down KJ and Oubre he's got no one that can do that save Martin. Honestly, I almost feel like he just doesn't care or know what to do without the right personnel.

This joyless game proves more than ever we should keep McCain. Dude is a gamer who plays hard the entire game. We still have guys on this team who go through the motions even when we're in a hole. If we're simply fraudulent, it'd be insane to get rid of a guy who could be a 25+ppg scorer for some role playing young wing who doesn't have anywhere near the same ceiling.

Maxey has three turnovers and I'm pretty sure they were all from driving into the lane and bouncing it off his legs/feet. Great undersized SG. Not a real PG.

That's what, 4 blown layups by Maxey?

Maybe they anticipated it, which is why they drafted McCain as a potential replacement for Maxey.

Most overrated player in the history of the Philadelphia 76ers. Now his attitude is getting worse I would get rid of this guy while people still think he’s good. He’s not.

Nope, I would get rid of him. I would build my team around McCain. He’s going to be twice the player Tyrese Maxey is.

I think you're a bit harder on him than is warranted, but you're entitled to your opinion. He's been objectively great recently, but has played 40+ minutes in 4 of the past 5 games.

Maxey is an elite off ball scorer who has won us multiple playoff games

They banked on his insane growth to continue and for him to be more than that. And he finally hasnt
